Don't worry - I hate all my stuff once it's coloured too. It's just an artist thing, methinks. If you just don't like the way you coloured it, I could make a colour tutorial to help you.

Hehe. It really does depend on what you were doing with it tho. Like.. if you started a pic thinking it WILL be monochromatic.... it'd prolly look better that way. But if you planned for it to be coloured, it usually does show up better in colour. (excluding all those lovely accidental suprises) Take myself for an example. Colouring covers up all my not so great lining, so usually my coloured stuff look better.

Oh. That might just be because I love colours in general. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif Drawing doesnt excite me, colouring does. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif But then, it's just me. And I am weird.

Yeah... Some pictures color really really well, and some just don't... Like that picture that I colored for dablacksephiroth... It just screamed, "COLOR ME!!!" so I did... And it was just soooo easy to color, and looked sooo good afterward. I spent days just playing with the hue controls in Photoshop, just marveling on how well it transfered even into other color schemes.

Other pictures... Just shouldn't/can't be colored.

Okay, I'll work on one in the next couple of days (tutorials only take a little bit - ask whoever I made a faces tutorial for... I have that saved, if anyone else wants that, btw). Anyone else interested in seeing it?

I'd love to. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

And. Deathreaper, if you have not seen this thread (http://www.pso-world.com/viewtopic.php?topic=71200&forum=12&61) of the process a piccie of mine that goes from start to finished, you may look a bit at the different stages to see how the colours were put in tho. Sure it is more computer based, but strategy is the same. You go from light to dark, base colour to shadows and highlights. (actually, highlight first.. light to dark http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif)

Okies... I'll post them both in a couple of days... See if I can't get the face one to scan a bit darker, since it was really hard to read.
