I know how you feel. Some of the equipement I have, including a Davil's Tail MAG (I'm on GC, but I heard on XBox this is one of the standard hacked MAGs, like the green lvl1300 Pushan on GC) has provoked similar responses. And I am certain beyond reasonable doubt all of it is legit.
On GC this kind of thing is kind of normal for quite a few good things.
