No no no. Im not letting you get by with this.All i need to equip is my state maintnance and all your force atacks are simply bounced off like marshmellows on armor. A HUcast with State maintnance is un-stoppable. And even if a Humar has state maintnace on him a HUcast would easily out last him since HUcasts hp are almost double.... Ho ho ho! Mechguns? Their range is mediocre! Melee weapons? Even worse. My fo will have everyone in the room frozen with barta.

If getting in range is a problem, I'll just lower my DFP so that all attacks knock me down and use the getting-up invincibility to heal or cast barta. Then I'll just run up and punch everyone once or twice to finish them all off with Megid!

Or I just pull out an exp-stealing mechgun and get my FO up a few more levels! Man, I hope you can use those specials on other players!

Umm, Hucasts can use Bazookas. So can Fomarls. Hunters can also use Spread Needles. Not sure about the Heavens Punishment though.

Can?t decide which side to support, Androids or Forces, as I have a Hucast (lvl. 100), Fomarl (lvl. 90), and Racaseal (lvl. 41). In Phantasy Star III, there was two sides locked in conflict, the Landens (technology) and Layans (techniques/magic). Forgive me if I got the names wrong, but it has been awhile. Anyhow, these two sides were locked in perpetual conflict, lead by their respective leaders whathisname and Laya. It all ended one day, each side brought forth a massive army (war droids on one side, monsters on the other) and marched to the final conflict, but none were ever seen or heard from again. Through the game, it is revealed that *SPOILER* Dark Falz was the true culprit behind the conflict, fueling antagonism on both sides. Whatshisname and Laya learned the truth and lead their armies to defeat him but only managed to seal him using whatshisname?s sword. Hmm lets look at this from the best point of view. If you are a force and have only 400 HP, and im a Andorid whom has 1,100+ hp then a simple 3 hit combo which takes about 2.3 seconds would simply kill nay force in the same amount of time it took for that force to cast resta.

So theirs a big slash through force.

And the petty Ranger.... why did you guys have to get into this? lol, well listen. You guys can use guns... but guess what... we can too. Practiacally the only guuns we cant use are rifles.. and those are pathedicly weak in my point of view... And because of that its just a simple match on who can last longer... Well HUCasts have more HP, ATP, DEF, and have almost as good ATA, so there ya have it. An even bigger slash through Rangers.

We could freeze your a$$ and then take you down with megid and grants before you can take a slash at us. I cant wait 'till this battle mode. Every1 will see its like Sega is rewarding us Forces. You will see in Version 2 when all the high level forces prove who is really the superior class....

A few things.

1)I think it's safe to say that those who want Version 2 will be getting it no matter what Sega does. I just hope they release here or else there are gonna be lots of burned copies in living rooms everywhere and Sega won't make a dime which would be a real shame since this game is great.

2)To the person who said Grants does 400 points damage. Hate to tell you but it does 1185+75 per the techs level. So example lv10 Grants would do around 1900 points of damage so if I was you I'd be careful about dissing forces.

3)If we get a battle mode I think the stats would be watered down or increased so every player would be even in power.

4)I say Rangers and Forces unite and remind the Hunters out there that they aren't the only ones out there. Afterall who used resta and heals you across the room? Who shot the two Sinow Beats coming from behind you while you were trying to kill that Canadine? Thats what I thought.

In all if it wasn't for RAcast and Fonewmn out there you Hunters would be toast when you blindly charge into a room with oh so bad swords.

As for who wins I'd say it depends on who has the best gear.

Marlboro, you have wrong idea about Grants. It doesn't do the amount of damage that you indicate. Rather, it has the Attack Power that you indicated. Big difference. A level 15 Grants only does around 300-400 damage. And against someone with a frame or armor that has good Light resistance, coupled with a Resist/Saint or 4, that damage can be practically cut in half.

Mina, brought up a good point... there are varying factors... it all comes down to skill. I have a FOnewm, near L70, but I've encounterd a few Forces at or lower level than myself who can do more damage, mainly because their items are much better than mine. (since I played 90% of the first 100 hrs offline instead of online with him) but even with the items i have, while many have better items, i'm still really effective with my FOnewm.

It'll be funny if Sonic Team adds those other character classes they omitted because they didn't have the time to implement them. What will others say now? A Droid that has some magical powers... a ninja-force... how bout a force with force-exclusive magic... but we don't know... Note: Sonic Team originally had 18 class types, but they cut it in half to meet deadlines. I wonder when they'll implent those other class types.

I'm all for the teamwork vs. only-class types.

Thanks for the info, I really appreciate it. Orakio, was such a badass in the game pics (even if he was killed by Dark Falz). While quite a few would say Phantasy Star III sucked, I still love that game. If Hucasts could cry, I?d shed some tears.

Not stupid at all. Pretty much agree with what you say here Mina. Lotsa varying factors such as mag, level, stats, equipped items (such as state/maintenance, which would render rabarta useless), weapons, player skill, etc. The only thing I?d add is that the Spread Needle (which is ridiculously effective) is not limited to Rangers, Hunters can use them too.

I?m gonna be like Switzerland in this war, Neutral. Too afraid of Cube ?King of all Androids? to join the Forces as my Fomarl. My main character is a HUnewearl, and I'm rather attached to her... I've had many, many other characters, but the only other one that somewhat stuck was a big green HUcast. However, I also have a very low-level white RAcast who's short and chunky. He looks so cuddly, in a very mechanical way. <g>

I don't entirely base my character choices on looks, though. Honest! I love that my HUnewearl can cast spells pretty well or hold her own in battle (well... sometimes); I love that the HUcast can just jump in and beat things up without a second thought; I love that the RAcast... uh .... ..... ....... well, I just like him. <g>
I've had forces, too, but my attention span wasn't quite long enough for them at the time. Now that Aliciana is in the 70's and I'm no longer bent on destroying Dark Falz, I'm going to try again and explore the technique users...

Still, this argument doesn't seem to have much ground on any side... there's never a "perfect" class in a game like this... All characters have their advantages and disadvantages.
