A little router help please?

ok so ive just hooked up my new router (using sbc DSL), all cables are connected properly, but my GC wont connect to the PSO servers... did i miss some configuration wizardry, or....?

Erm....unplug the power supply to the modem. Then after it reconfigures, try again. That's how us cable users do it.

what type of router is it?
what other equipment have you got between your DSL line and your gamecube and P.C?
