Red Scorpio

My curse has been lifted! I've never been able to get a Red Scorpio before, but earlier today I went to go beat the Ruins again and I cane across it after beating a group of Merlans(? I have trouble remembering which ones which between them Merlans and Arlans).

Is it worth it?

It's the strongest of the 3 photon launchers and has some pretty good uses, mainly for bosses like the dragons and the worms.

I always have and always will prefer slicers to those things, but I'll admit it is an alright weapon against the de rol bosses.

But there are plenty of other ranger weapons that would do much better against the worms like SN.

Yeah I really don't like photon launchers. Infact I never can find anyone to give them to so I've sold like 2 Red Scorpios now.

spread needle is one of the few RA weaps that ISNT better against de rol. it has super limited range, and quite a bit less atp, and less ata., but hits the same amount of stuff. scorpio is actually better agaisnt de rol.

RED SCORPIO is more powerful, and does not need to lock to hit(you can hit Dragons while they're high up, etc.), and Slicers can only hit up to 4 targets and RED SCORPIO 12. Slicers are a lot slower. And they look so much cooler on females !!

5+ Targets. I have personally seen the dragon get hit in all of it's target areas with a slicer. De Rol Le gets hit in almostall 7 or 8 of it's target locations as well. Slicers are awesome against the first 3 bosses.

It's 4, absolutely no doubt about it, try it on a bunch of 5+ boxes.
Slicers are Terra's main weapons and Aelia uses a lot too, Kefka sometimes.

I hit five parts on the Sil Dragon with a slicer. Hell, I just beat the forest again to make sure.

I just tested it out, and I concede my conceding earlier, it is definetly 4, no more. Kefka is correct, star light uses them all the time, and my hunewearls use them from time to time. It is definitely 4, and no more.
