i need a run-through on getting online please

can spmebody explain to me how to set up the menu for getting online. i have no clue what the hell it is talking aboout when it asks me for stuff. i want to get on before the st. rappies are gone, but i cant. also ive already got a HL and the book says i can put automatic for anything i dont know. it tells me to check my ISP settings, and i do. thanks in advance for all the help

if youve already got a HL, then you have probably already got your gamecube configured corectly, otherwise you wouldnt have been able to buy a HL using the homepage option on the PSO menu.
read the instruction booklet, carefuly, connect it all together, and if you have any problems read the topic at the top of this board, then post your set up and whats going wrong.

i bought it through the computer, not the gamecube. ive already read through the booklet, and i did everything it said, but it still doesnt work. whats a proxy server and DNS?
