thats right, you read correctly. it was dropped in forest 1 either by a regular rappy, booma, or savage wolf. no rare enemy was involved. i can't remember what level my character was at at the time, but i know it was low 20's. i dont know if this is common or not, but it is armor that is so good that i cant wear it until level 78!!!!!!
also note this was before the easter lavis cannon hysteria. so this is probably more likely to happen now.
