View Full Version : Has anybody played MegamanX7 yet???

This is embarressing, especially for me, but I really haven't played this game yet. I'm trying to save my money to be able to get an online adapter and pay the fee so I couldn't go out and buy the game. I've researched it heavely but that still doesn't tell what it's like. I WOULD have rented it but the BlockBuster here only has ONE copy and it's always gone. They've been doing this since MegamanX (1). I've lived in the same area for many, many years. I remember getting MegamanX for the 1st time. I was about 7 years old. Fell in love, rented 2. Then eventually the got 3. Was my favorite. (I liked Zero alot then). Then EVENTUALLY they had 4. Bought a PS1 for X4 and FFVIII (total favorite FF). X4 Is still my favorite so far. X5 was sooo ez, and X6 was made too soon and isn't translated but has English subtitles. (favorite in order: X4-X3-X1-X2-X6-X5) Now that X7 is out, I was wondering if it would be worthy enought to bump X4 out of 1st... or atleast get 2nd.

i haven't played x7 yet, but i think it'll be nice
3 chars, 2d & 3d stages

i think x5 is better than x4.. i didn't like x4 too much

The reason I dislike X5 and X6 is because X gets 2 armors. BUT, the armors are weak! And you need all parts in order to wear it. Unlike the X1-4 wear the second you get an armor piece you can wear it. X7 has one armor (as far as I know). It's called the Glide Armor. Looks pretty cool too.

I havent played it but the reviews did not look good. Good 'ol GMR gave is a 7/10. Not bad but if you are Mega Man... guy, you will probibly like it no matter what.

X7 is very good. Capcom did an amazing job with making the 3D stages of the game (they play almost exactly like the 2D stages, just no longer side-scrolling). They do take a little getting used to, though.

X4 > All the others.

Zero > MegaMan > Axl

Well, I like X more, but yes... everyone Loves Megaman. (mm8 was it's best)

No. Megaman 2 was the best. Megaman 3 was also good. After that it started to get repetitive. I love the X series, though.

I dunno... I just can't deal with the way the NES megaman graphics r. I JUST finished playing Megaman X4... again... for the kazillianth time. (neva get tired of it)

I have yet to get my hands on X7 too. Though I almost bought a copy this past weekend, but the local stores were sold out. X3 and X1 are my two favorites out of the X series. Nothing will ever compare to MegaMan 2 and 3 though. These are truely MegaMan's best games. Though I do like MM 4 a lot too.


Also you hear of the latest Mega Man game? A compilation of all the Gameboy MegaMan (I-V) games in one GBA title. Sweet I never got MM V on gameboy.

That and a compilation of all the original MegaMan games is coming out for GameCube and PS2. It is a big year for the Blue Bomber.

Anybody seen the old Megaman show? It had absolutely noting to do with the series. And X looks like a grown man (appears on one episode with Vile). Yet on MegamanX4,X sounds like a girl.
