I was in charge of cooking this year (so was every year, hah!) and while waiting for the turkey, I did this. Colour pencils and a bit of acrylic. Haha, kinda odd. And my hand hurts.

edit: I rescanned and kept the file a little larger. So, right now you will have to click on the link to see it. The file is a little big. And bigger than before.

Was supposed to be Zonde, but a lack of planning did screw it up a little. Hehe. Glowing plants???? =D

The look on his face is so lost in this resolution, it was supposed to be a kinda angry/posessed look. But it came out kinda... blurry. Haha

That is a pretty cool picture. I like the coloring for some reason. I would like it more but I am not a fan of Numans (or any pointy-eared creatures for that matter).

Nice. The character might stand out a bit better if you went over and inked him. But I always find that I end up ruining it when I try and ink it. Not to mention I also end up wasting a good pen because I magically end up clogging it with all the color pencil http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime2.gif

I'm not sure if you intended it, but I like how the face and hair just pop out at you. Also you might be able to make the lightning stand out a bit more if you shade a darker color for the background but leave an aura around the lightning.

Inking before you colour will make it so that you don't clog the pens. *G* You could also try using India Ink from an ink well and use a calligraphy type pen or crow quill. Those clog sometimes, but they're really easy to unclog - you just wipe the tip on a napkin or paper towel.

that's the first decent looking FOnewm i've ever seen.

Only thing is...it's not decent...it's excellent.

I worship you...your art is beautiful...and...i have no artistic talent whatsoever...

anyway, your work is impeccable as always. keep it up, i always enjoy your pics.

Actually he -was- inked. I am lacking a decent inking pen or some ink right now so his ink was done over a thin thin black ink pen. Though, I kinda like how he blend in with the background.... and brings me to the next point...

Which also brings the face and hair up to your attention so you look and instead of noticing platform shoes, you see his pretty face!

Yes .... that is due to a lack of planning. I was shading the background and suddenly, I felt like some lightening and went into add them in. And the result is what you see here... hahahaha. Yes.. yes, this is sort of a bump because people have complained how they cannot find this picture. Fan works moves really fast sometimes.
