soul eater problems

hhmm..
im having problems with obtaining the soul eater, or getting the frying pan thing..

i have followed the instructions in the FAQ on how to get but for the soul eater missions..

1) blackhound doesnt appear in the said locations in "Waterfall tears"

2)Blackhound also doesnt appear in stated area in "Black paper"

thus 3) Blackhound doesnt appear in the stated area after i finished "From the depths"

For joining weapons and getting the frying pan.. The soldier near the shops in "Lost bride" doesnt answer any questions that i would have to give answers to...

what is going on??.. Does the instructions for the faq only work for US version of PSO.. if so, what about the European version..

Hey magenta,

Are you trying to get the Soul Eater in normal? Have you beaten all the quest once already? Do you remember if you have told Sue your name the very first time you played Dr.Osto's Research? Because if you have, then Blackhound won't appear, even if you went back to do it again. You will have to start over in Hard. If you did not tell Sue your name, then make sure you did Unsealed Doors before Waterfall Tears. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/icon_wink.gif

For the frying pan, make sure you got the embem for WEAPONS from the fat guy near Guild AND finish Secret Delivery. The game will not acknowledge the embem if you cancel out of the quest after you talk to the him.

-Black hound appears near the columns in the caves. Y'know those things that crush you.

-i forget where he appears in black paper.. but i believe if you continue past the telepipe......

-Blackhound is in Ruins 2 on from the depths. Instead of Telepiping back to the ship, run back to the portal to ruins 2.

you can ALWAYS check your area map for the locations of any NPC's. The little arrows... Hope that helps. ^_^

I got lucky. I found mine in forest on hard. Right up where the hidabears are near the dragons teleporter. After doing the quests to get the pan I was so happy I didn't have to do them over again. Personally, the quests bore me.

ooh no..looks like i have start over again, since i told sue my name in easy, and HARD..
luckily i havent yet met sue in very hard.. but this is very hard...
