What is everyones favorite weapon? i have been asking poeple about it online and have gotten many interesting responses(it looks badass,it has good photon percentage all the way down to:it kills monsters dead...seriously) id like to see what weapons people on pso world like to use and why. if you can please tell me your class and lv

Mine is without a doubt the soul eater. I had one on my other character before my save file got corrupted and I LOVED it. It looks cool, has a high attack, and gives you good range. plus it looks neat when you do a strong attack and it spins. Only reason I dont have one on my new character is I HATE those offline quests, and at my level (26) mome always seems to die in that one quest. well. someday.

My favorite weapon that i have right now. is my spread needle. I like it mostly because it is great for my friend who is lower level cause if things get to tough for him i can para the monsters so he can get away. Thats my favorite weapon as of right now,but i can think of a few i would like to use instead.

My fav would be the partisan series http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/icon_wink.gif Right now, my weapon of choice is a gaebolg. I have a couple of them to use in the different areas. Why do i like it? Simple, it has nice range, good speed and the ability to hit multiple targets. Also a single swing could do up to 700 hits w/ shifta on. Im trying to find a vyaja rite now. I use different weapons for different areas depending on their photon bonus, but my fav weapon overall is probably my Chainsawd. It's pretty powerful, swings fast and hits multiple enemies. Plus, it gets points for looking pretty cool. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/icon_wink.gif

Soul Eater definitely rules, especially for forces, since its the only sword/partisan weapon they can use.

Hmm, well for my lvl. 24 FOnewearl, a Soul Eater -will- definitely be her favorite to use. Sure, it's a melee weapon, but she has to conserve TP somehow.

But for my lvl. 100 HUnewearl, it's her Brionac (45% A.Beast, 60% Dark; special - steal TP). In a close second are her Slicer of Assassin (45% Dark) and Slicer of Braveman (45% Machine).

My reasons for liking the the partisan-types are that they have good range, decent attack speed, and hit multiple targets. As was stated before, Soul Eaters are the only partisan-type weapons that forces can equip [hmm. can they equip Soul Banisher too?]. And sadly enough, I haven't found anything better for my HUnewearl than Brionacs with high percents like that. No Gae Bolgs or Vjayas for me yet. But the percents on my Brionac are perfect since I only go after De Rol Le (for armor) and DF.

As for the slicer-types, I think they kick serious arse when I'm fighting in a party against large swarms of enemies. As a hunter, ATP maxes out with just about any weapon once you cast Shifta. So they do good damage, hit multiple targets over a wide range, and can hit from a distance. Just wait until they're all within range and sight, then *whoop* almost 400 points of damage to them all without doing criticals per attack. The only problem I see with them though is that they have the strange habit of not being able to hit an enemy that's directly in your face. If you're right up against an enemy and try to attack it, the projectile will go beyond the enemy without hitting it =P.

Well, for my new favorite character (FOnewm), it's a toss-up between my Soul Eater and my Double Saber. Anyone who's played a force knows why I like the double.
And the Soul Eater? It's the only group weapon a FOnewm can use. Plus, when I'm shifta'd and use the extra attack, a critical hit takes over 500 hp off a Delsaber on very hard! Not bad for a FOnewm.

Sorry, you guys. But, hands down, the ultimate weapon of PSO is .. Yes, you guessed it . . Saber+1. It does a decent amount of damage to one opponent, plus it has a nice green tint to it. To top it off, these things are fscking rare. Let me ask you this . . How many people playing PSO do you know who wield a Saber+1 on a regular basis or even have one in their bank? I rest my case. i have a soul banish with 50% native, 60% dark...with this things special i can do about 1300 damage without shifta in the ruins...let's just say that it's the best weapon in the game. add to that a soma mag that casts invincibility when my hp is low and i am a god http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/icon_razz.gif

I am a fan of sword and mechgun type weapons. I don't have one specific sword or mechgun that I used (because I am always seeking the strongest weapon) but on average my swords have an attribute of 40% and my mechguns have an attribute of 50%. I switch between them depend on the situation. Mechgun is generally stronger than sword when there isn't a group of monsters right in front of me but is of longer range and I can start shooting before the monsters approached.

For my ranger, it's a steady trade-off between the Spread Needle and Heaven Punisher. The HP is most useful for offline leveling, but in multiplayer, nothing beats the speed, range, spread, and special of a Spread Needle. My RAcaseal might not be able to kill much online, but she sure makes sure everything is going to die.

For White Noise my HUNewearl, it's all about partisans, especially the Soul Eater. Despite their comparatively low damage, their speed and range are incredible, they're a lot more stylish than swords, and and when combined with a God/Battle Unit, nothing can touch you. Heck, despite its cool moves, her Twin Brand is collecting dust in her bank because she hasn't run into anything tough enough to warrant it.

well for my force I love c-sorcs cane. Decent damage, tp steal, and really stellar looking. I am also fond of dbl saber, because of, again, the tp steal.

For my upcoming hunewearl, I have become addicted to my lavis cannon. It's very fast, does awesome damage, and the special attack allows you to hit baddies from across the room. (plus it has 60% dark, so at level 47 on a critical hit, I'm doing well over 1000 damage in the ruins )

Heavens punisher is also very cool for rangers. When the special is available, the gun is near unstoppable.

my current favorite weapon is my +9 Justy. I get sick damage when I use it on ANY monster and it has yet to fail me. Before that I was using a +9 launcher that I liked a lot. Though far from effective for killing monsters, it worked extremely well as a great support weapon that helped my close combat team mates get away from swarms of monsters all the while supplying me with tons of experience.

i've switched fulltime to my new hunter Vincent and his best weapon will have to be the legendary lavis cannon because it packs alot of damage, attacks multiple enemies with it's special, has 30% machine 50% dark and 10% hit. And most of all it looks really kool.

My favorite weapon has changed a lot over time. Past and current favorites have been:

Gae Bolg +9 (35/0/0/20): This is the one I kept the longest time, with it's spread out %s. Finally passed it along to a level 40ish HUnewearl I met.

Varista +9 (50% machine): I ownzed the mines with this. Then lost it in Accidental Lid Opening of Death.

Double Saber/Twin Brand: My favorite weapon to play with, just cos of the looks. Lost them to FSOD.

Right now I've been having fun with a Charge Gladius. No %s, but it does crazycool damage, for just $200 a pop!

Well, since Im a force my geist raygun is a godsend. Ive barely had to buy any fluids since I got it. My next favorite is my hells raygun. After that is my double saber, I think its the funnest weapon, and it looks so damn cool.

Now for my hunter character, I love my twin brand, just like a double saber only better, and i matches my outfit. Next is s-beats, those are also hella cool looking and the instent kill is always nice. Then I have a flowens/dragon slayer/caliber for each level.

I am emotionally attached to my Photon Claw, mostly because it's the rarest thing I've found on my own. I don't use it much, though... it tends to get me killed. I usually stick to my Twin Brand (which a friend gave me), or a Varista with a dark % in the ruins, so I don't get mauled to death. VHard ruins don't like my lvl75 char.

The weapon I would miss most is my Suppressed Gun--but frankly I don't use it much.

Various shotgun type weapons are my bread and butter. Now that I've started a new character with Viridia section ID, I'm starting to really get a lot of them! Usually, I only care about the photon bonuses. The exception is soloing V-Hard Ruins--where I really appreciate the Charge special (enough to sacrifice 5-10% bonus against dark).

When I'm playing a Hunter character, I prefer Mechguns or Swords. As a Force, either a TP stealing handgun or no weapon at all is what I prefer. (See NO WEAPON thread for details on unarmed Forces.)

Sorry I'm not getting very specific, but I've got at least one character of each class and I can't even remember what the primary weapons are for each one of them (I use different weapons for each of the 4 areas, of course).

I usually use a Brionac, Dargon Slayer or Flowen Sword. Whatever has the highest percentages against whatver I'm fighting, since they all basically have the same effect. I'd love to use my Twin Brand more, but hitting only one enemy gets you killed on V.Hard. Also, someone mentioned ATP capping out with shifta earlier on this thread, well, it doesn't. It seems to cap at 999, but it actually does get higher than that. That's just the highest it displays.
