Greetings.
I was wondering if anyone could help me with a few questions (yes, more http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif)

1) After you pay for the hunters license, it charges your card monthly. But when can you cancel the costs if you ever get tired of PSO? Can you cancel the costs?

2) I can buy this game pre-owned, but a afraid to, because the serial numbers have been used before. If i do buy it pre-owned, I have heard that I will have to ring Sega to get the numbers cleared... I was wondering if to ring from Australia it is the same number as it is in America, since if it isn't, I'm pretty much screwed if i buy it pre-owned.

Thanks in advance to anyone who posts here. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

I'm not too sure on a correct answer to all of your questions but the best way to get them answered is to talk to Sega themselves. Go over to their site and e-mail them. Keep sending em stuff until you get an e-mail from an actual person then get your answers.

Happy new year http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

What region is your pso disc? EU (PAL), US (NTSC), Japan (NTSC)
different regions have differnt payment methods.

As for second hand, i believe that the online mode for the Australian release isnt officialy suported, if you can get it to work fine, if not then your stuck, i may be wrong on this, although your best playing it safe and getting a new one or one that hasnt been used online.

PAL all the way!

I have talked on the internet with someone from Australia who said they got it to work fine. Also, I have asked this question before, and it seems that geographically, there is no limit on when/where you can play PSO.
Thank you, and since I'm not sure of Sega's contact details here, I think i'll buy a new one.

[pondering] Or..... i could get ep. 1, 2 and 3 in that bundle thats coming out in... 4 months?! WHAT!?
[pondering]
Heh, Australia is so slow.

Thank you uber-much, and Happy New Year!

If your in a PAL region then its probably handled by sega-europe.
the payment for the hunters licence is handled by http://www.playsega.com and costs 5.99pounds (UK) or 8.95euros per month.
the payment site acepts direct debit (switch and solo cards) and credit cards (mastercard and visa) for payment, and you have to visit the site to re-enter your details each time your hunters licence expires, it doesnt renew automaticly.

make sure that you can connect to the payment site on your gamecube, and sign up on and pay on your gamecube for the first time, if you do this then you will know that your gamecube is set up corectly to go online, if you buy your first HL and sign up on your P.C, then you cant conect on your gamecube you will be wasting money.

After youve set up the network file, go to the homepage option on the main pso menu, and it will then connect to the internet, then on the the correct pages for signing up.
make sure that you write down the username and password that you create when you start your account, and keep it somewhere safe.
