I heard it does but, it didn't work for me....My friend DarkFo and I, we both did Caves at the same time(using the phone) and He saw a Nar Lily at 54 Beats...I was at 52 beats cuz My clock's set different (we both live relitively close to eachother) I went to the same room that he was in at the exact same beat and saw a Regular lily, what's this mean...The theory's wrong?...or beats don't affect rare enemies....

It's just being lucky, Beats have nothing to do with it. Although it says people find Hildetorrs more around 666 Beats, it's because that's when people try more than any other time http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

No it doesn't, and there have been a lot of topics about this in the past. Search the forums before you post things.

Face it. The chances of both of us finding a Nar Lilly at the same time is 1 to 1000000

You're right NodMan. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/spam.gif is not nice.

It's a lot easier to disprove the BEATS theory then it is to prove it's correct--although neither are absolute.

I would say no.

Offline, certain rare enemies have higher appearance rates within specific beat ranges. Higher appearance rates do not guarantee a rare enemy to appear at same beats, but instead they promote a higher probability of a rare enemy to appear.

Being in a rare enemy hotspot can mean the difference from 30 minutes of piping to 2 hours of piping. Rare enemy hotspots have been tested to extend up to 2 hours. Section ID differentiating known rare enemy hotspots has not been tested.

When a rare enemy hotspot is intercepted, it is highly advised that you keep piping or playing in that area for additional rare enemies since rare enemies should appear more frequently in a hotspot.

Rare Enemy Hotspots can only be recreated using HARD RESETS(power off/on switch). Rare Enemy Hotspots have around a %50 chance of being recreated. If no rare enemy is spotted within a substantial amount of playing time (30 - 60 minutes), then a HARD RESET must be used to reset the GameCube Clock before retry.

Known GameCube Rare Enemy Hotspots:

SKYLY Ultimate Addicting Food (22:15:00) @594 - @700 MIL LILY
SKYLY Ultimate Addicting Food (17:30:00) @396 - @500 MIL LILY
*REDRIA Ultimate Forest of Sorrow (18:00:00) @416 - @445 HIDETORR
*REDRIA Ultimate Forest of Sorrow (17:55:00) @413 - @445 HIDETORR
*REDRIA Ultimate Forest of Sorrow (17:50:00) @409 - @445 HIDETORR
*REDRIA Ultimate Forest of Sorrow (17:45:00) @406 - @445 HIDETORR

*Start Time was not recorded, so all possibilities are listed.

Even if it was true, it wouldn't be a 100% guarentee. Also, the theory was never fully disproven.

Try piping for rare enemies, and record all the times you see them.

Just because they show up doesn't mean they'll drop rare items. Though I've been finding more rares recently while playing offline, I can't play online so...yeah. All I can do.
