I have 1300 TP, and when i find myself going thru my stock of 10 trifluids on ryuker trying to pipe for a tor....... still never seen one........ been doing a lot of piping for the last month still nothing!!!!

I just do a hole bunch of Forest of Sorrow runs and around 15 or 16 I'll see one!

Don't stress about it. I always find rare creature when I least expect it, like during a quest or a forest run.

I've done about 56 forest of sorrow runs and still haven't seen one Torr.
That, and out of all my time playing pso i've only seen one blue and all it dropped was meseta.

What are you doing, 1 at a time? You can get 4 at a time which isn't very many but it's the best you can get.

When I saw my first Hildeblue it dropped me it's head! But hey some are more lucky than others!

I've gotten great items out of the rare occasion where I randomly bumped into a 'torr. I've seen three by now. One gave me an Ancient Saber, another gave me an Agito, and the last one I saw gave us a Frozen Shooter.

I've seen one about every 10 FoS runs.. I've been lucky, I guess. Just keep trying, and one will eventually show up.

Actually, 7 is the most. Though 6 is more practical. Running half way across FOS to see one more hildet is not worth the effort.

If you want to know how to get the 7 (or 6) look at the FOS guide. It should be there. Or get someone to post it. I don't know the specifics.

I went and looked at the forest of sorrow guide and it didn't say anything about how to pipe 6 delts at a time. How do you do that??

In FoS, you get the 4 in the normal room, then run across the way to the little island type thing, right in the middle of forest 2, its the oval shaped room connected to the one with the mothverts and 4 barbles. If you go there as well, 2 more hidlets are waiting for you. In this way you sort of get 6 at a time, but you must do some running. Its up to you to decide if the waisted time running is worth the time lost in piping. *shrugs*

I've seen 5 'torrs in about 80 FoS runs, just searching for one GOD BATTLE! (which is dropped off the hildelts) well I've got it now and it's good. What are you trying to get off the 'torr? Red Saber, Frozen Shooter, HEaven Punisher, Star Amplifier, Magic Rock "Iritista", or Syncesta?
I think that's all the main ones..

I'm betting that just piping 4 at a time is faster than running to see 2 more.

Anyway, I just piped 4 at a time and on average I saw a torr an hour. It took 32 of them to get my syncesta. After that many torrs I doubt my 1 per hour thing was a fluke. Of course sometimes I got a torr before using up my TP. Twice I had to refill my TP 14 times. But the average was 1 per hour.

on ult and VH, I've spent over 14 hours piping in FoS and never seen a rare enemy as a result.

I get torrs faster in the temple than FoS...

I've seen a Torr in forest by accident. Dropped nothing (would've been a red saber...)

I've piped for a Torr in temple... took a while but at max... maybe a couple of hours.

This is all within the past few days.

Maybe it's just me. But either way, I find it hard to believe there's so much trouble with Torrs...

You really only get what you want when your not looking for it. ex. my FOmar: "Well, I think i'm gunna look for a Hildetor and get Heaven Punisher! (killz countless hildelts and gets a Red Saber!) Whoa! "I was looking for one of those to give to my friend... cool!" (but he never got that Heaven Punisher... oh well)

Maybe it would be better if we never had drop charts, or if enemy rare drops weren't so definite. That way, we can't go horribly insane while trying to specifically find that rare enemy and just use whatever we're lucky enough to find.

Or maybe not. I dunno.
