What the hell? Error message?

I was just playing phantasy star on the offline version when i went to do a quest and it came up wiv an error msg and it sed that i had to turn the power off! Damn it i lost a lvl, some way cool items, 1 hell of a lot of meseta and a heat sword+5. Y the hell did this happen?

yeah, it happens many times to me as well..
frustrating, but there is little that can be done when it happens
there was a post on how to prevent it, search the tech forum for it

If you get a disk read error just try opening and closing the lid. If that doesn't work try cleaning the disk. You can usually get the game to continue at least until you get a chance to save.
