how long do you wait for? Cause I've had it stall for about a minute on occassion. Otherwise I don't really know, if you've paid for your liscense and have your connection set up it seems like it should work, if you keep having problems try calling sega.

You'll get a window that comes up where you choose select server or something and then you choose your ship and block

ok my setup is as follows.

i have bellsouth dsl. its a westell modem. to that i have a d-link 10/100 ethernet switch "not a hub". i have a cat 5 cable that goes to my bba and another that goes to my XP PC. I know my GC is connected because i posted on the private forums through it. So i am assuming that its configured correctly. Ive also eliminated the switch and hooked my GC straight to my modem. I still only get to the welcome screen of minhiro. like i said, i just pops up the text screen and after that goes away i cant do anything.

Next question, Did you have to provide your P.Cs MAC address to your ISP?
you may need to informa them of your gamecube broadband adaptor MAC address, this is located on the sticker that has the barcode on, on the BBA.

Have you got your gamecube settings on automatic or have ypou put the info in manualy?

i let the BBA get the info automatically. As for my isp, i dont think i had to give them my mac address. Im sure i have adsl, so my ip changes. That is why i left it on auto. Out of curiousity, if my bba didnt recieve and connection, why could i still browse segas forums through it? Thank you very much for your help, I greatly appreciate it.

P.S. If you help me get online, ill give you a rare item of ur choice from my list. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

Ack, exact same thing happened to me...To get mine to work I had to go from the dsl modem to my pc with usb, and from the pc to my gc with a crossover cable. Then I set up internet connection sharing, and it all works =D But it's really strange...if I go from the dsl modem to my pc with ethernet cable, it won't work on my gc...Also, I couldn't get it to work going through any other pc's =/ Well I wish you good luck getting online, took me forever to get mine working >_<

If you sign into your ISP on your computer with a username and password, you gotta do the same with the network settings. Go to them and switch your connection method to PPPOPE or whatever and insert the necessary info. Same thing happend to me but I fixed it and now I'm fine.

i dont have to sign in at all. Its automatically conencted on my pc. ill try what they said about using my modem through usb and hooking my bba with a crossover cable.
