What the heck is this? A shield, I can't use, apparently heals automatically. As a force, I consider it useless.. Keep? Or give to hunter?

proto regen gear is literally useless.
its just like a teaser item for the actual regen gear and the regen gear advanced (or how its called).

compared to other stuff you can use at that level its not even a good shield.

keep it for collectors purpose or get rid of it.

I believe it's a rather craptacious barrier, but you heal a bit of HP and TP (for non-droids, of course) when you block. Might be okay for a really high level RAmarl/HUcaseal with uber amounts of EVP, I suppose...meh, Secret Gear is better...
