View Full Version : What diff level to do offline quests?

I've just emmigrated from the DC version to 1&2+ and am looking forward to doing the offline missions, some of which I'm assuming are new. The question is though, when I should I do them? Normal mode is ludicrously easy and I'm thinking maybe I would enjoy them more on one of the harder diff settings. But, maybe the quest items you can get from them are more appropriate for early level characters.

Any help here would be appreciated,

Jools

All difficulties. Reffer here- http://www.pso-world.com/sections.php?op=viewarticle&artid=855 for a list of EXP gained throughout the difficulties.

Edit- Just remember, now you CAN find rare items in the quests. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

Thanks for that blue-hawk. Can anyone clue me in about the pre-set quest items that you can get. Most importantly, when would be the most appropriate time (difficulty level) to unlock them.

the quests are actually the same, just some of those who are downloadable were added 'on disk' this time. you'll notice differences in the cutscenes though. very neat.

Not quite Rena - he has PSO Plus, the Episode II Tower quests are all new to a v2 player...
