Me and my friend have beaten and saved all of the first three levels of the game. i am currently lvl 69 and he is right behind me with a lvl 66. but for some reason we cannot select the ultimate option. what level do you have to be to get it??

I assume you are referring to multi, and it is lvl 80. You should be able to get into ultimate in single player right now though.

thanks. i did know about the single player but why do they make it so high for multiplayer?

If there were no level requirements, way to many people would take advantage. Like goin into multi with a level 50, hitting everything once, and letting a higher level char kill the stuff. The lv.50 would level up really fast. I agree that 80 is a little high, considering that you can get into ulti about 30 levels below that.

Well, that's what it is for online. It's basically to ensure some uber high lvl char doesn't bring his friend's Lv.1 into ultimate and level him up like a madman.

It's set at 80 because when Ult first came out on DC you would get murdered in forest if you where below 80. Really even if you were 80 and played with legit items, you would get slaughtered pretty bad. Especially if you came to ult with v1 weapons, forget about it, you were toast. They balanced the game out a lot more for v3 and couldve taken down the restrictions a bit, then again at least it can make the game last a bit longer, well sort of at least.

The only problem with that scenario is that a level 1 wouldn't be able to touch anything in Ult. ATA isn't high enough.

Techs and traps. They count as hits.

i always take my time with the game, so i wouldn't miss too much of the possible drops for that id..

Well your right about that, but you'd have to be fast enough to get a tech or trap in there.
