A great run through the ruins, you think i'd be happy >.

Last week or 2 ive been doing mad runs through Redria Ruins offline looking for Spread Needle. As of yesterday i had found 2 DF Fields, 3 Celestial Armors, 2 PD's, and a couple 9 star weps from boxes... Today i make yet another run and find, yet another DF Field, a Delsabers Left Arm, PD, 55hit Laser, 35hit Arms, and 35 hit Diska... So i finally get to the end, and i go back to town to see what ive found. I tekk the Laser first and its Dark (instant kill) So i keep tekking and eventally get it to Hell. So i keep doing it over and over trying to get Hell with the 65% hit. After i about 10k meseta down, i screw it up >.< Now i have a 55%hit Dark Laser (lowest on the food chain) And still no Needle.

And if your thinking, try a different ID and get from Merlan instead of Chaos Bringer... I dont have any IDs that get from Merlan (not in Ult Ruins anyway) but i have been trying online with other people. But most time people wont cooperate, so i end up back offline...

I think everyone has been through the same thing. It took me weeks to find a lavis cannon and it doesn't even have percents and not to mention finding the syncestas for it.

it is, but Xeno was trying to get it to the highest "instant kill" special, and dark is just a lower level of it he didn't want..

you've found so many uber rares in the last 2-3 months that you arent happy with what your finding. those DF fields alone would make me ecstatic right about now.

you need a RARE break! at the rate youre going, youre not going to have anything left to look for!

*Looks at clock... 5:30am... 3 more hours!? Gasp! I'll be there... And your right, i have found tons lately. And yeah, Dim is the lowest, but Dark is the lowest that the tekker was showing me at that point...

And heres something to think about... During this little hunt of mine, ive done countless Endless Nightmare 4 runs also (Usually with Purplenum) and we've seen around 8-10 Red Mechguns fall (From Del-D) and not one Needle fall (from Merlans) and they supposedly have around the same drop rate... Me and a friend were thinking maybe the needle is an 11 Star drop instead of a 10?? Like DF Field is an 11 Star item, but is listed for Redria as a 10 Star drop... Whatcha think?

And to clarify, i was more upset about screwing up that Hell Laser, then i am about the needle. Cuz i know the Needle will come eventually, but 65hit Hell Lasers dont come that easy...

did you hear anyone say the Spread Needle was an easy find then? NO duh! Especially of a Dark Bringer!

Tho I can cheer u up. I have done countless runs. I have found 3. 2 with (0,0,0,0) and one with (0,0,15,25) untekked.
The thing I want to tell you, which I recommend most people, just go on, do ruins runs. when u look for an item you wont find it sometimes. But NEVER GIVE UP! The ruins are a good place for experience and Ill tell you YOU WILL FIND ONE, one day! Keep doing the ruins.

as a final word to the story: I even found a smoking plate there, which is even harder find than a s-needle. I wasnt even out for finding it, but when doing enough runs youll do that!!!

Heh, yeah its good for experience. Considering my HUnewearl started her runs at level 110, and is now almost level 130. (A few EN4's online, i'd say 1 maybe 2 levels there) And Redria holds lots of stuff i'd like to find. Started the runs looking for Needle and DF tho. DF accomplished. I'll continue for the Needle and hopefully a Meteor Cudgel as a nice added bonus. Smoking Plate, i dont have a FOnewm, nor prolly ever will, but it'll be a nice trade item i guess, if i manage to snare one.

And did you say you found 3 Needles off the C bringers? Or from other ID's (Merlans)?

3 needles out of bringers, 3 df fields, 1 smoking plate, 1 meteor cudgel, more than 5 delsabers left arms, 2 red mechs. countless celestial armors...

Tho: NO Psycho wand from gran sorcerer(yeah duh ofcourse chances of finding it are 1 / 300000) and no god technique from bullclaw. Bullclaws are stingy too, i never saw it drops something special...

But nevertheless, im happy out of my redria ruins findings. The more you will play the more you will find.
I played mostly ruins from lvl 90 - 145 (now 163)

Thats basically all i do online. Except i make people who are Yellowboze, Purplenum, or Greenill make the game, so i can score them off Merlans. I figured if i found 3 DF Fields from Merlans (1/1700ish) then it'd be a piece of cake to get the Needle which is like 1/000ish of them... That is not the case tho. Tonight actually, in an EN4, a Merlan dropped a friggin PD... My exact words were "..." Yeah i was mad.

EN4 hasn't treated me that well latley. When we were doing Redria, i was kinda hoping for a Meteor Cudgel off the Belras. Today we switch to Yellowboze, and what drops? A Belras arm >< And with Purple we were getting tons of Red Mechguns of the Del-D's. And for Yellowboze Cudgels drop instead from Del-D's. But of course they wouldn't drop THEM... Grr *Goes and does more Redria Ruins*





Updated- Last night online, decided to take a break from the Needle hunt for a bit, so i started making laps in West Tower for a MKB (did 30 Laps of the first two rooms) 178th Dolmolm drops a PD ><

Today, just now i finally get my Redria C bringer to drop a red box. Yet again another damn PD... This is getting old.
