Mag: defense mag?

I was just wondering if there was any item that raises up the def. of a mag only,or at least more def than the other stats.

It's better to use Defense Materials than to raise defense on a Mag. You see, each Material gives you two points while each level on a Mag gives you one. High defense on a Mag is very inefficient character managing, if you ask me.
