that doesn't sound so bad... last march, we had a major blizzard here in colorado. right here in the city, we had 6 feet of snow. my parents were out of town and we had little food in the house because we ate it, a tree in our back yard toppled over on the power line and blew the transformer so our neighborhood didn't have power for a week. and, of course, we needed that power to have heat, which we didn't have anymore... so, we spent days shoveling snow so we could get out of our house to swim over the snow to the grocery store to buy stuff... lotsa fun there...

Oh yeah, I almost forgot, I had midterms all this week.
Now, because of this, I'll have an extra weekend to study for my Adv. Algebra midterm thingy to be postproned till monday.

Oh, and about the computer, my mother originally bought it and she gave it to me once she bought her new (this) one.
I pretty much have full ownership over it, because I literally replaced every last fucking part of it out of my personal cash. nur nur nur *scrolls down list*
120 GB hard drive
DVD-R
CD-RW 56x54x56x
5.1 surround sound speakers
512MB DDR RAM thingy
D-Link thingy (dad's server when I bring my comp over)
Firewire card thingy (iPod)
A small scroll mouse that lights up

ooohhh, and a flashy case with neon lights I bought on my recent trip to HK (not installed yet)

I skipped today....just didn't feel like waking up. Well, uh, something like that. I really don't "have" to go to school, there's no attendance policy. But my girlfriend still got mad at me for skipping. :/

Yes I did have a snow day. It was the greatest feeling in the world. I had been up till 3:30 the night before doing work for my research class, and I was dead tired. My dad woke me up at about 9 am to say that we had a snow day, so i just said "Thank God!" and went back to sleep. I didn't get out of bed till 2 pm.

How's this for luck? I had a 2 hour delay on Friday in addition to a snow day on thursday. I really needed it too. I was pulling an all-nighter when at about 5:00 or 5:30 i realized i wasn't gonna finish before school started. Now, I had had the public announcement channel on all night for hope of a snow day. I look up after realizing this and see on the TV "SCHOOL OPENINGS DELAYED TWO HOURS."
I got my work done and got to get about an hour of sleep. W00T!
