Yep, the proper shoulder length is one head size. If you look at your self in a mirror there should barely be enough room for two other heads. Without ears http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime2.gif

You don't have to follow that rule with a ruler, but a rough estimation will make it look fine.

It looks pretty good, but I can tell you one thing that will greatly improve your future drawings. Remember that while doing heads, remember to include the cheekbone to their shape. Just my CC, ^_^

Yeah, just the half, I drew on the corner of printer paper because the rest of the scribbles took up the page.
