The mother: You're watching everyone's health bar and the second it goes down you cast the resta. You're also the one to cast Shifta, Deband, and other spells to help your team.

The lone wolf: Let's split up into two teams, you three go left, and I'll take the right. 2 min. later: Okay guys, I'm at the boss tp.

The anti-social: Not a word to anyone at all, no matter whatever circumstances.

The clown: You always say funny stuff and can't piss anyone off no matter what.

The Jerk: You're an item whore and you have no interest in teamwork at all.

All the above Spy. It kind of depends who I'm with. I don't mind leading the party in circles. It's something I happen to be very good at. "Am I haveing deja vu? Nope just Danger taking the scenic route again."

I'm not opposed to being a follower either. Some wise man once said, "if you want to get where your going, follow someone else." I think it was Ben Franklin or Buda. Or it might have been Charles Manson.

I do have motherly instincts too though. Thats the reson 99% of my photon blasts are cast at the walls. "er...that don't look like resta to me?!?!?!" I've tried Android characters, but I miss being able to heal my comrads to much.

I'm also much the lone wolf...not by choice however. What usually happends is I get a mail or stop to feed my mag. Next thing I know, I'm wondering where everybody went. I could just check the map, but that requires to much button pushing. So I start wondering aimlessly. Usually I end up back at the start, see the teleport, think AH HA! I found it! Imagine my suprise when I appear back at Pioneer 2.

I can be anti-social too. When I get tired that keyboad can seem soooooo far away. Typing something would require me to sit up.

Clown? Hmmmmm......nope I aint a clown. Anyone calling me a clown will be exterminated.

About the jerk thing...I prefer to call myself a bitch. I have been know to be one of those. A few out there may have experianced this. You know who you are.

I'm a follower, a leader, and a mother! I try to be the first into battle so I can freeze the enimies so my mates will have it easier. I always watch the health bars and cast resta when there's a noticable difference, and I also follow others into battle. I try to help all out all over the place, I don't like to be classified as a helpless Force.

Well i'm a Leader/follower/mother/clown. It seems to depend on who I am with and how well I know them.

I definitley am a mother when playing Aviendha, "Resta, shifta, deband, here let me razonde those boxes for you." Otherwise it depends how high level the people I am with are. (Escorting low lvls = mother mode)
Leader/follower seems to depend if no one else takes the leader roll.

I tend to be somewhat of a Lone Wolf, yet not in the manner that you describe. When playing with strangers, I keep to myself, not saying much save for my snide victory comments after slaughtering all enemies in sight....but only after letting the other players get in a few hits so they can get XP, too. If my fellow players are of lower level then I, I let them pick up ALL of the treasure. I use my spells (when using my HUmar, of course) to keep everyone alive and boosted. I only lead when it's obvious that no one else is willing to take up the position and/or the rest don't have a clue as to where to go. In other words, when playing with strangers, I tend to try to acctually Role-Play my character.

Now, when i'm playing with my RL friends, it's a totally different game. We all turn into major clowns, cracking inside jokes that only we would find funny, stealing treasure out from eachother's noses and taunting the person who was standing over it, let someone die.....take their weapon......go hide it a few rooms back....then revive them.....etc.....things like that. It keeps the game fun. Keep in mind that we only do these things when playing with our real life friends. Well, the type of player I am really depends on which character Im playing and who's Im playing it with. But one thing always remains the same, I dont like leading. But since some people sometimes get lost, I usually end up leading anyway.

HUmar|Hanzo: goes in the battle with a smile. My first character. Since I usually use some kind of swords, I have to be the first to hit or else I wont get the kill. And I guess I do tend to heal alot, since I never seem to run out of TP

FOnewearl|Seraphin: I like to hang around in the back and cast spells like crazy. And when low on TP, I go in with a double saber a few times. Also likes to heal. Did I mention that Resta is my favorite tech? http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/icon_biggrin.gif

I always lead (have most of the maps memorized), and am always casting resta at the slightest of damage and always boosting my party's attack and defense values with Shifta and Deband. I don't hog items. (In fact, I never take anything unless I really need it.) I prefer to go with the pack, but if the time is needed I will become the alpha and lead on.

I am often seen as anti-social because I stay quiet as I prepare for the fight to come

I am a mentor as well, I will often help new players and show them or give them better weapons and let them help themselves to the loot. I will often get tons of mail from the ones I have helped (usually during the middle of a fight) asking me to join them.

And if there is no Force with us, I do my best and use Stars to heal everyone as they get low

Millenia definately likes to mother a lot, I cast Shifta/Deband at every opportunity, and will backup with resta if need be.

I always leave it to other people to have first pick of any equipment lying around, if they're that desperate to run over to every box then they're welcome to it. There are always other ways to get stuff without the rush.

Personally, I'd say I'm a combination of Leader/Follower/Mother.

I tend to just follow my comrades, but will lead if need be. I also like to help out by keeping up Shifta/Deband and casting Resta when the need arises.

I also have some suicidal tendencies. I tend to not keep a close eye on my HP bar, until it's too late and I'm almost surrounded by dimenians in the Ruins.

I play Japanese style. It involves a bit of mother/leader/clown in everyone. Of course, I'm not speaking for all japanese but for those who spent the early days playing with Japanese players will definitely know what I mean. I want to introduce our playing style to everyone, actually. I'll post a message under the title "How do Japanese play PSO".

One noticible difference is that not one single player will enter a room first. Everyone waits for the last one to arrive before entering a room, so even when there is a leader who decides where to go, nobody gets left behind. More on the post later.

Hucast: Wouldn?t say I?m the leader (I usually follow/don?t give orders), but I am the first into battle. Also a bit of ?mother? as I would watch over any lower level members of the party (provided they?re nice people) by putting my android ass between them and a pack of dimenians or using star atomizers (cause resta is too slooooow) if need be.
Fomarl: Also not a leader, but also first into battle. Yes, a suicidal, tanking Fomarl. Definitely the mother, casting shifta, deband, resta, rabarta like there?s no tomorrow.
Racaseal: Again, not usually a leader, but definitely first into battle. Also the motherly type, as I will watch over the party.

Sometimes I?ll be the leader (depending on the circumstances) but usually I?m just the sidekick. I also always try to be the clown no matter which character I am using, but if its a game with people I don?t know, I?m much more subdued.

As i've mentioned before on a couple other postings,the whole reason i chose a force is because i love running around making sure all my teammates stay nice and healthy.Sometimes thats a REAL chore unto itself !!!So its mother for sure.I am always saying things to make people crack up,too.(When youre a force with an ass this big, you cant take it TOO seriously,can you ???) I'd like to add a new category, that is "Big rolling ball of death." That's me. I just keep on moving until I need a town trip. See, I play PSO to hit things with a large variety of swords and guns and shiznit like that. So that's what I do. Very much so. I sometimes lead people, because I sometimes play with people that are too slow to move on, I sometimes follow because I ran off in the wrong direction and ended up slaughtering in a few rooms before turning around. I can't say i'm an item whore.. of course, if i'm walking across a item i surely pick it up unless i don't need it. But me and my clanmembers have a golden rule! NEVER touch the chests until all of the monsters in the room are wiped out!

joke around with other players, and mediate when my team squabbles over items.
I also like to give out free stuff to anyone that jumps in, even rares, because guess what,
all those items are just strings of 1's and 0's.

I'm also the Pokemon trainer, because I will trade things like double sabers and Sinow Beat blades for baby mags.
I think mags are more valuable than any rare.

Oh yeah, once in a while I stand on the balcony of the lobby and do my lil' stand up routine.

my current favourite thing to do, is to go ahead in front of everyone, and wait by the doors (to monster infested area), then cast shifta and deband as the others whizz by to attack.
