I just got this game for the X-Box a few days ago and some folks I've been playing with suggested a HUcast for me.

So far its very fun but I want to make an alternate character I can play when my local group is not available.

I'm thinking of making a Force built for either support or offense. (probably support) What character (race) should I pick if this is what I want?

Also, how good is a HUcast in the long-run?

First time playing- I would stay away from a FOrce, as they are incredibly hard to start with.

A RAnger would be good, since you don't have to worry much about getting hurt or needing to heal too often.

HUcasts are almost all power, but have very low accuracy.

If you are bent on making a FOrce, FOmarls do best in support with their double range in all support techniques. For Damage FOrces, FOnewm or FOnewearl would be best. The FOnewm has a boost to Gi* and Ra* techniques, while the FOneweal has a double range in Resta/Anti and a boost to basic attack techniques. FOnewearls are the only ones to get a natural penetrating Megid (very useful in Episode 2).

I personally am not a fan of androids, but the HUcast VERY VERY useful in ultimate. Freeze Traps+ Crap Load of damage= easy exp for everyone http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_yes.gif

yea, it is a good idea to stay away from forces (i made the mistake). but if you really do want some sort of basic magic AND power get a HUmar. My favorite is still a HUcaseal. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_bored.gif

just make yourself a HUmar, level up to about 40, then delete him...

than make a HUnewearl, if you're tech-bent

Actually its all about your style, but it makes sense to start with a human character, as they are the most balanced of all, it will do you right to see what you like and what you miss, then create a new one, if you dont like your human character that is...
