Gasoline Alley Meets the Young and the Restless!

I was checking the comics today for the first time in probably a couple of weeks, and to my surprise there is a very bizzarre Gasoline Alley comic.

In this comic, one of the young girls and a young dude are apparently having a baby. Now, maybe I just didnt' follow it closely enough, but I used to think Gasoline Alley was G-rated. These kids are like, 14-15 years old though. If you've seen the comic before, you'll understand why this seems a little disconcerting. What's up with this?

I remember going to a Gasoline Alley back when I was younger... Go karts and an arcade, heh. That place was pretty cool.

That did look odd... but going back throgh some of the previous strips, it seems like it was more of a "funny" way of drawing her at that moment. If you check some of the earlier ones from a few days before that one, you can see that that was just... an oddly drawn picture.

Not like I read Gasoline Alley much anyways, so I wouldn't know what character this is for certain.
