Unexpected error while trying to purchase my hunter's licens

ok i've had this game since(and been online)last may/june,but i have'nt been on for at least a good 2-3 months.Just now i decided to start getting back into it.So i fire the game up and go to the online mode,but it tells me i have to purchase a hunter's license(which i allready bought ages ago)so i go to the options menu and go to purchase a hunter's license(again)but as it's loading it up,a message pops out saying "No.406 Cannot Contine An unexpected error has occured.Press A to restart the game"

What the hell is that all about!? first off,why do i have to purchase another hunter's license,since i allready bought one back in may of last year? and secondly,why has that error appeared? has anybody else had this problem?

I just hope i don't have to delete my save file from the dashboard and start over again!

this happened to my cousin..all he had to do is go to the website and get in his account and click on the serial number and acsess key and reactivate the hunter license because for some reason it cancels itself sice you havnt been on for so long...
