PC: Monitor problems

This is not pso related but... I just got a different monitor for my comp which is alot bigger than my old one and it makes everything all kinda blurred to one side. I tried messing around in my display properties but the only thing that worked was decreasing the screen resolution so far that a pixel was like a centimeter long (slight exaggeration). Then I was told I might need a different driver for my monitor but i could not find a driver for a Gateway EV910 monitor that was windows xp supported. Now I'm not too familiar with drivers and the like in the first place so I could really use some help.

There's only 2 things I can think of that would cause your monitor to do this:

1) Using non-shielded (basically non computer) speakers. If you have a speaker (or subwoofer) very close to your monitor the magnet can screw with your screen.

2) There is something wrong with your monitor. If it's brand new you should take it back. If it's used try it on another computer.
