PSO PC - Can saves be backed up?

Hi guys, what's up

Anyway, I was wondering if there is anyway to backup my PSO character for PC... I'm not playing it online, I'm just checking out the game in offline mode - pretty funky http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

I gotta do a format soon, and I was wondering if there is any way to backup my character so I don't have to start from scratch again.. ewww..

Also, will this character be usable in the up and coming PSO episode 1&2 game?

i haven't had the pc version installed for quite awhile, but I'm sure there is some type of saves or character folder. Just save that folder on a zip, cd, dvd or even floppy disk. And then after you reformat and install PSO, replace the new folder with your saved folder.

Same here. I think the actual folder with your character files is called 'backup' so look for that.
