mag blasts in ult is it suppose to be a joke ?

i've been working on a mag or two so far my original one that had over 40 def 70 pow even dex & mind at 45 thats the mag that got me to ultimate at lv 200 mag however i made a new mag it has 40 def,110 pow,24 dex & 26 mind however the blasts don't do more then 150-250dmg on certain monsters including bosses so whats the problem with these mag blasts in ult they are pathetic hell my rangers attacks hit higher then the blast itself

What is the Synchro on your Mag? All of my mags are at or around 120 and I do 1000-2000 damage per Photon Blast in Ultimate at level 104.

I think 2500 damage is the highest I've seen on ultimate... just like spells the resistances are too high for it to be worthwhile.
Your pb would be better put towards doing M&Y combos ^-^

Golla and Pilla are Light attacks (yeah I know Golla looks like Lightning and description says so, don't blame me)

There are 3 ways to increas the damage done by a Photon Blast:

- Raise IQ. My guess is your MAG has a low IQ, and thus does little damage.
- Have team members donate some PB energy. They have to press Y during the first sound of the PB. Gives 10 PBe, increases PB strength and makes them share in the effects. Rappidly pressing Y makes multiple donations. Personaly I never donated more than 30. Don't know if others have.
- Make PB combo. If during the first sound of the PB, another team member starts his PB, and it is a different one, both are amplified noticably. It should be possible to do a 4-combo, (4 different PBs, one started during the first sound of the previous one) but I've never seen it happen. Team members that can't participate in the combo can donate to all PBs, provided they have the PBe.

Kefka + Sange & Yasha = 3700 ATP (over 4000 with Dark Flow >_<)
Kefka + Luminous Field + Standstill Shield = 1700 DFP
And Estlla dealing over 4500

I did 2002 damage on Falz's 3rd form online, but that was on VH.

4-way combo = r0x0rz. I've done it several times, mostly because I generally end up on a full team with people who know what they're doing.

Solo though, yeah, the PBs don't always do very much. But that's what M&Y is for on a non-FO, especially a droid/mar.

Rio's Ecco (the dolphin) pb does anywhere from 54-1500 depending on the enemy stupid enough to stand in its way. Tore Dal Ra Lie apart in a matter of seconds. However It didn't do much good against Vol Opt v.2....

You sure? In multi mode, I've seen my friends go from half pb to no pb by pressing Y during my Mylla and Youlla.

It depends on the area and what you're doing. Mucking around Forest, yeah, half the HUs probably wont even hit 100. But do an EN4 or a TTF, or Seabed/West Tower, something like that, you're gonna get slapped around enough to hit a PB sooner or later. I know all about the slow PB meter increases of FOs, Nav. mine is lv 200 iq is almost 200 and got sync to 120

what are all the blasts elements ?
i have estlla,golla & pilla so these are ice and two light attacks ?
but what are the rest ?

Unless your friends MAG is below 10 he can donate. MAGs below 10 don't collect PBe, blocking donation...
And for doing serious damage, you don't need Sync, just high IQ will do

I don't think I've ever donated more than 30 PB either.

With a 4 way Mag S/D combo and her Red Saber +78 - I've had my FOnewearl Mana up over 2400 ATP. 1200 DEF I think.

Yeah, when the circle is drawn, and your controler shakes (if you have vibration on) you hear the sound that makes you go 'heyyyyyyyy, BLAST!!!!' That's when you can donate or combo. It takes some practice, but once you got the hang of it, it rewlz.
Weapons don't do anything to the combo. However, if one of the PBs is Mylla and Youlla, you get Shifta/Deband. In a combo, these are seriously boosted.
