I just got to lvl 152 and equipped my Aura field that has been sitting in my bank collecting dust since i was at lvl 75. I must say, the TP drain is worth the extra added DEF, EVA and cool looking special graphics. I heard somewhere that you can get another color of Aura field besides Blue. is this true? and is so, how might I get it?

I've heard that before too. I seriously doubt that you can, since the person that I heard making the claims couldn't prove anything and seemed like someone that would make something up for attention.

is it possible the Real Aura field (enemy drop) is a different color thatn the syntheticly made one?

Maybe they were thinking of Flame Garment?

If they were, you'd know about it. There's plenty of Orans around and Oran can get them really easily.

That's why I'm an oran and I have tonnes. I'm just going to check this out to be sure.

No I wasn't refering to the Flame garment. I already have one and It is far weaker than my previous armor (synthetic Brightness circle). I'm assuming if the Aura field does have another color, It would probably be green or purple.

I wonder if VulpesMundi knows anything about this.

I've heard of some wierd graphically glitches that make the aura feild turn different colors, but most of the times its someone elses armour, a background image, or some other type of affect that creates the illusion. As far as regular items goes, the arua is blue, and the flame garm is red and thats about it.

How good is a Brightness Circle? I have an Oran so I'll probably get an Aura Field too. But I recently picked up a Star Amplifier from a Hildelt so I might use it to make a Brightness Circle also. So I'm just wondering what I should do.

You might need both.
Brightness Circle Circle has low stats, but highest EDK (Megid http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif )

I have found two Aura Field in Oran and made one, they're the same, only the made one sucks.

The only armours that look more or less like Aura Field are Flame Garment (orange) as Ketchup mentioned, and Smoking Plate (black).

There is a way to change weapon colors through hex edits. My guess is that it's possible to hex edit a certain address that alters the color of the Aura Field and Flame Garment. I wouldn't be surprised if they use the same effect purposely edited by ST to display different colors.

The guy seemed to have seen more colors than just Blue (Aura) Red (Garment) and Black (Plate) ....

Purple ?

gotta love KaFKa's reply http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

and yes on DC I was able to change color of certain weapons, like double saber(to black, famous), Elysion(to plain cyan), S-Red's blades (looked like black Musashi lol), and some others.

I never made it with the Armours and Shields, no matter how hard I try, but heh I'm not 1/10000 of Baru to this >_>

But the Smoking Plate produces a foggy/smoky effect instead of flames...right? http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

Wow, I'd LOVE to see a Black doublesaber! That'd be so freaking cool! Well, for my FOmar at least. XD

Made Aura Fields have base stats, where as a found Aura Field will most likely have higher than base stats and it could be a good deal higher as well.

With my two Aura Fields I found... the first one definately increased my DFP and my EVP. The second one I found was almost two "God/Body" stronger then the first Aura Field, and had +2 evasion compared to the first. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_eek.gif And it had a slot, too. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Yeah, thats how my a friend of mines Guard Waves were. The first one was 1 slotted and the second one had 0 slots. But the 0 slotted one was wayy better like almost 30 different in defense than the 1 slotted one.

So far, I've heard of Aura Field's DFP varying from 235 to 281.

I piped one with my Oran that has 408 DFP. Just to broaded that range of yours. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

I think you're factoring in deband. No armor goes to 400....I seriously doubt that.

Firocket1690
Feb 2, 2004, 01:25 AM
Actually, I think he's factoring the fact that's what he got when he put it on.
That's the total DFP you get, but not the Armor.
The armor adds the difference from total to base. (excluding slots)
Prollly factored deband somewhere too ...

I'm fairly sure I subtracted the DFP with the armor off from the DFP with the armor on when I recorded that number. And I made sure I wasn't wearing any DFP-boosting units. It does seem rather out-of-place, and I can't get ahold of the armor anymore since I traded it to my friend whose house burned down along with his Xbox (no joke), so I have made a mistake.

They may very likely be hoax.
