For some odd reason, I came to the realization that I haven't really drawn anything female in the past year or so >_>; So to correct this, I sketched that. Sorry it's not PSO related.

Would it be quite so fun if they weren't jiggly? I think that's what holds my attention, sometimes.

Though I wouldn't use Neon Genesis as an example. The pilots in that series didn't wear armor, but stretchy body suits, that just kinda deflated themselves onto their bodies.

Now, Moldiver could be an example of what you're talking about. Or Bubblegum Crisis, or Bubblegum Crisis 2040.

Quite spiffy there, Relam! It does look a little rough, but I would expect that from a sketch, as opposed to a finished off and polish product. It's actually kind of nice to see just a sketch every once in a while.

I agree with you though, no need to back off. As much as I don't mind boobs being mentioned and such, I'd rather not having to worry about how my drawing of boobs would be randomly gawked at and have the rest of my hard work missed.

dablacksephiroth: Yeah, I was just making up whatever for her clothes. I wanted to add more to her actual body area but nothing could come to mind. Oh and the pencil I'm using is a simple mechanical pencil with .5 mm lead.

But this is unexpected on my side as well. I don't normally draw women like this (or at all... what's up with that?) I rather despise any sort of fanservice in anime the most. It really pisses me off when I see breasts animated like they're in their own generated field of gravity. Real breasts, no matter how large don't bounce around like a rabid ferret during simple activities like walking! >.< And I hate it when anime objectifies women in anime like this. You don't pay as much attention to the character or anything because of the damn constant chest animation. You try and pay attention to the story but you're forced to look at the bouncyness, or some damn panty shot. In the 5 minutes they wasted on animating and showing off everyone's clothed privates, I could've had a major plot develop, or something signifigant happen in the story. If I wanted to look at such things, I'd just break down and go out and buy some damn porn/hentai.

Meh, I'm weird >_> As much as I hate fanservicey type art, I do have to realize that I must be willing to draw such art if I'm going to be successful. So I have to practice drawing the cutsey and sexy stuff. I can't rely completely on my mecha.

Eh, It was the same with me, though being 15 and 16 isn't that great of an excuse, I'm 14 as it is. I even played DOA Extreme Beach Valleyball and found that I actually prefer playing the game then just doing model mode over and over. Freaky, no? The technical bullcrap has just come from watching too many Super Robo and mecha anime series, not to mention building and playing with anything resembling a robot. It's not that hard, but it requires lots of practice and just looking at a lot of examples helps a lot in determining how best to place panel lines and other such redundant details.

Unfortunatley, I'm not taking any requests. Unless they really interest or amuse me. I took requests last summer and I was swimming in them. The rate I was drawing and my mood and such wasn't cooperating well and I couldn't keep up with the load. In fact, I still have a hand full of people who still would like art from me, but I just haven't had the chance or felt up to it yet :/ Sorry.
