I have up to 10 gigantic and tiny sketch books and like piles and piles of paper lying around in this room. You do a great job, especially with touchpad... I mean, you can be my idol because you draw with toucpad.

It's because she's drawing them on a program embedded in a webpage, that is very similar to Paint, but is streamlined for speed. It's an Oekaki board.

Two reasons for that.
The Oekaki java program doesn't really do very nice lines, there is a new feature on the my board that does anti-alias to the lines now but I kinda like the roughness of it so I kept it that way.

Secondly, I don't know, if I draw on my computer with the oekaki proggie in comparison to others, it usually gets blockier. No matter, I do Oekaki mainly for "at the moment" sketchies and fun jokes. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

Oh the quick description..

Well I drew his back, I don't usually do descritptions in my Fic because I don't find time. It is in first person and I usually don't describe myself when thinking to myself.

Anyways, Brown hair, blue eyes, intellegent yet scheming look. Is handsome but not outgoing with his looks, he is modest, in a planned way. Dosen't smile a lot because he dosen't like to.

He seems mad at everyone, like they could be better. He doesn't look like he thinks he is better, but that they could be better.

Okay. This is how it works. Usually my pictures are done in either Photoshop or Painter. Occassionally I do it with Pen and pencils and I'll usually make a big deal about this. edit: Dark.. er, whatever. Can't spell. The trick to colour over black lines is.. on your left there is a thing called "layer" .. if you have used Photoshop at any point you should know this is the magical part, but if you don't. The trick is, you add a new layer on top of the original. Draw your lines on top of the new layer, then, colour in the second (underneath) layer. Think of it as working on transperancies. Actually, the design was created by a buddy of mine that I haven't seen in several years, who associated himself with Mangoes and Llamas.

The inspiration was a number of conversations we had, in which we attempted to convey changes in musical tones using capitalization in the word "Doot".

Ya know, this particular breed of the board script works pretty much the same as photoshop, even with the same tools. And you'd be amazed with just how professional looking this can turn out.

Er. Oekaki isn't a style. Oekaki simply means "draw a picture"... doodling if you will. It is called oekaki because it is done with the oekaki program.(which most of you now know the link to anyway) Oekaki is also called "PBBS" (paint Bulletin Board System) It is like a forum, only with the tool to make pictures so people can chat and paint at the same time.

I hope that makes it clear.
As for that picture you linked. It was pencil sketch on paper, then coloured in Painter Classic.
