Using American PSO Save File With Japanesse PSO Plus?

Hey, does anyone know if I can use my American PSO save file with the new PSO Plus that came out in Japan? If I cant is there anyway to make it possible?

No. They use totally different formats.

Not only that but you may also need to buy a separate hl if you want to go online with both versions... (or at least that was the case for a friend of mine...)
