There isn't even a point trying to find it from the single Gi Gue in Seaside, you might as well go online (if you can) and do East Tower, there are a lot more Gi Gues.

1/12000 and sumthin drop rate. 1 Gi Gue in Seaside.
I figure that to be around 12000 Ult Seaside runs.
Definately try and do east tower, 3 Gi Gues in some rooms.

A Gi Gue si the big bee like thing in the sea-side area. It's in the room with all the Gee nests... If you've beaten episode 2, you'd have to have seen one!

You think maybe each copy of PSO has a different rare finding rate pre progammed into it? Like... ST's way of making certain folks have legendary finding abilities. I could see that being intentially designed. Maybe they thought it would add good autmosphere to the game if there was a weapon like the SJS that was INSANELY IMPOSSIBLE to find, but then there's one guy whose found one or two... It always increased the mistique of an item whenever you were able to say "yeah, I know about one guy who found it on his first run..."

man that is luck, getting a sjs on your first run. A friend of mine found one after god knows how many beach runs, he played just that level for months, and found 6 photon drops before he got the prize. I have done a similar thing trying to get mkb from mericarol, but to no avail, although the bastard has dropped about 3 photon drops for me.

The thing that puzzles me is when you have been looking for a rare for months, and then you get 2 in the same run. That's happened to me with red daggers and s reds arms. Insane game this, good programming skills at st (except for double save shit)
