what exactly is so good about spread needle?
i have had one for a little bit now and i don't really like i almost hate it.
why does everyone say it's the best?

What makes the Spread Needle such a valuable weapon is its abilities. It shoots five targets at the speed of a rifle, making it vastly superior to the slowpoke shotgun-class weapons. Using a Needle with a Light-Heavy-Heavy combo generally allows you to hold a group of critters at bay. You can just stand there and whittle away at their HP with carefree ease. No other weapon in the game (save the matching S-rank Needle) offers this capability.

Just what Vulpes said. it has average ata, low atp, crappy range, and a decent special. but It's still the best weapon in the game.
