GC: Finally got a broadband adapter - looking for good team

Hi there folks,

Yup, FINALLY got the broadband adapter and took the plunge last night. Met a few nice people, but I thought I'd drop by here and see if anyone would like to play. Or maybe join a clan or something. I'm not "hardcore" or anything, I just like to have fun. I'm pretty reliable and a good team player.

I have 3 characters - Eltis lv. 110 hunter, Ting-Ting lv. 90 force, and ushent01 lv. 70 ranger. I'll probably play Ultimate mostly, but some VH would be cool too.

One more thing... since I've only started to play online, I've kept my nose pretty clean. Whilst playing with some rather "buffed" people though, I was given a sword that I think might be questionable. It's a red broadsword (don't remember the actual name), but it has a couple photon efficiencies at 100. Does this sound like a cheat item?

It may or may not be. If Hit% is one of the 100's, then it is most likely hacked.

I think the 100s are A. Beast and Machine, so perhaps it's legit. What percentage of the population do you think plays legit? Granted, I just started online play, but it seems that everyone I play with is doing damage in the thousands while I'm doing like low hundreds generally. I feel so useless!

I'll look for you on Altair! A word of warning: I don't have a keyboard adapter yet, so conversation with me will be a bit slow. I ordered one last week though, so eventually I'll get up to speed.

I'm on Eastern Standard Time, and you're on Pacific...I take it that California is on Pacific Time...so...it should be 5:31 PM now, since it's 8:31 here on the East.

Is that about right? If so, I'm going to be online in an hour and a half, so that'll be about 7:00 PM for you and 10:00 PM for me.

Heh, sounds like fun! I haven't been on much, but if we can set a time and date to meet I'd certainly get on. Weekdays, I can be on at around 9PM Pacfific time (later is better for me).

Sadly, u wont catch me on that late on a weekday (gotta watch inuyash reruns and witch hunter robin and then i need some sleep), but on a weekend u might c me. I m usually on altair 4 (as of lately). Just do a search for any of my chars (see me profile).

Although I'm generally not too picky, there are a few things that I really prefer my teammates to able to do.

The first is to help each other out. That means healing friends (esp. androids) anytime they are hurt if you can cast resta, or bringing back fallen comrades as soon as possible. One time all 4 of my team could cast resta, and anytime someone was hurt, pretty much everyone would cast resta immediately. It might have been a little wasteful, but it really made us all feel like a team where everyone wanted to help each other.

The second is be able to hold a fairly intelligent conversation. Half the fun of the game is communicating with each other. I'm not really big on folks who have little in their vocabulary other than "LOL" and "d00d mE wPN bst0rz&??//".

And finally, I only really want to play with legit players. If you have a couple duped items, I'll probably never know and never care. But if you're running around killing everything in 1 shot on Ultimate at lv 80 before we can even enter the room, then it kind of saps the fun and teamwork out of it. Why not just play alone then? Last night I actually quit a quest for the first time because one member was clearly a cheezer. He also wouldn't help anyone at all. It got stupid fast, I wasn't going to tolerate it.

Fortunately, I'd say 90+% of my experiences have been good online. That said, I hope to meet more of you online, thanks and good day.

Welcome to PSO.

Words of advice though: You have another memory card? It would be nice to start another PSO data on another memory card and never use it unless offline. Its mostly good if you keep extra good rares for trades or keep them for yourself when you get corrupted....

Okay hypetheticly IFI am able to go on, I already know what it means to be a good team mate. I don't like talking much, but I make jesters with symbal chat. Any way to get my piont across this is what I expect from the team.

I am a force that depends on fluids. I have 4 god minds (from trading) trust me on this it took forever. I am a the kind of person that will sometimes let a rare item go depending on what level in ragol we are all at. Swearing and accusing people of duping isn't my style. Even though I do know how to! This information shouldn't go to other players. I tend to avoid conversations with legits. They see things kinda 1 way. I have a level 22 foie from ult.
