trouble chatting

hey i'm having trouble chatting online. i fon't have a keybourd or a mike but i use xbox and i should be able to chat with other people by pressing why but have found this to not work whenever i am online but when i am offline. if there is any advice you can supplie it would be great thank you.

Try the Y and X at the same time to access the word select.
