You can "take" pictures while you're online, but you can't actually "post" them until you exit the game and use something like PSO Proxy.

Yes... Oberon was the worst. Ever. Even Vega can't compare to Oberon. In Vega, you may be sexually harassed, and be subject to spamming of lewd and offensive symbol chats, but in Oberon, not only were you subject to that, but to user-created FSOD and CK'ing, as well.

I treated vega the same way I treated oberon- I never went there, and if any friends of mine were playing there, I would not join them.

What's a real pity is all of those jerks have realized this and have migrated partially to Antares 8. :/ I wish they would stick to one ship and FSOD/harass each other rather than me. But hey that's why I stay at Deneb, Altair, JP ships and Vega 8 (always empty, except for friends).

Because they are stupid nerds and don't know how to reply to females. Have you ever watched Futurama? There was a nice scene in a digitized chatroom, and all the members were guys, and when a girl finally did show up everyone got nervous and got silent. I suppose they harrass the female characters because they ASSUME the person controlling them is male, and it would annoy them... that's just what I figure, because I end up being harrassed a lot... then again I only have 2 male characters... out of 7...

The reason people like that are on Vega-1 is because that's the first ship and block you can pick (i.e. it takes the least amount of brain power).

I realized there is something weird about Vega that DOES attract cheaters for some reason. It's like some type of aura. A friend from here comes over every once in awhile to play PSO on our GC every once in awhile. He is a big cheater. Uses dupes/hacks...the whole nine yards. Because he doesn't play the game as much as my roommate and I, he normally just watches us play and does pretty much the same things. However one thing he does differently is the ship he plays on. Although he watches me play a lot, and notes that I never go to Vega and spend most of my time on JP ships, Deneb, and so forth, when he plays, he plays exclusively on Vega. It's like Vega sucks him in and doesn't release. One thing that somewhat annoys me is that EVERYTHING he has (this is not an exaggeration) is duped/hacked. And he acquires them by just going around and asking people for weapons that he doesn't know is good, but has heard me talk about. Anyway, it's annoying, but it's helped me with my tolerance toward cheaters because I see him as a worst-case scenario.
