I'm in Texas, so it's normal to be behind a state that has no popularity. HAHA I'm just kidding.

It's ok. If we didn't share a border with New York, we would be 100% unknown; not just 98% unknown.

Oh, also you can't forget that we have the most politicians in jail!

I'm not terribly impressed. I'll try again tonight at home.

Oh, and for those who were talking about T1 connections... "T1" is a rating, not a connection. "T1" merely means that your bandwidth is with a specific range-- Any connection can be manipulated into a T1 connection, by merely adding bandwidth. In theory, even dial-up can produce T1 bandwidth; provided that you've got enough phone lines in use.

Yeah and my DSL prices (from my ISP) are farking rediculous.

I pay (half/half with dad) 30$ a month for a top speed of 192...my ISP's package for like 1500kbps is like 199.99$ a month...which is crazy.

Because you'd need to break into the Smithsonian to get the hardware necessary to operate it... Not to mention get the modem itself...

Either that, or raid my closet and desk drawers at home... I'm sure I've got the motherboard and modem for it somewhere...

I dunno about the Smithsonian, lol. Hell, I have a 9600 baud modem lying around somewhere in a shoebox in the garage. (I have never actually owned a computer that used one, I just have one. Kind of like the 8" floppy disks and the core memory planes[Dear lord I'd -hope- I didn't own a computer that used the latter, lol. Where would I put it? O_o;])

It is pretty bad, though. >_<;;; We get horrible speeds here. Absolutely horrible, lol. Even worse than we got in Cali. *kicks MSN* I don't know how I manage to do so well on PSO. X_x; I swear my connection on that is better than it is on the actual computers.

Home stats... I find it odd, though... As my connection here at home tends to seem considerably quicker than my connection at work. Still, looks like I just barely outdid my connection at work.

Though, it occurs to me that my computer at work is a 2.8Ghz Pentium IV... Compared to my 400Mhz Pentium II at home... Which I would think would make a difference, most particularly in the Storage speed. Huzzah, indeed!

But I don't think that's what they mean when they talk about T1's, etc.
