Here it is. Although most of yu know already.
-------------------------------------------
Here?s what to expect in the next iteration of PSO:

Battle Mode finally lets players duke it out with each other in a variety of Quake-style deathmatch arenas. Each arena can have different limitations ? such as limiting players to melee attacks or range weaponry. You can also break into two teams for a little bit of two-on-two team battling. Weary of cheaters, armed with low self-esteems and a DC Xploder device? Fear not ? Sonic Team is doing their darndest to handle more data server-side, and reduce the possibilities of pockmarked teenage low-lifes spoiling the game for all.

Ultimate Mode is available to players who are above level 100, and is best suited for the masochistic. Said mode is even more difficult than ?Super Hard? mode, and is best described as mayhem ? the footage of Ultimate Mode is awash in screen-filling explosions, high-speed enemies, and hit points getting sucked off by the hundreds. Only take this on if you?re excessively hard-core.

Hold on ? it gets better. Naka and crew showed off a hysterically funny Soccer Mode, where six players can dash around a play field and whack a talking ball-thing into a goal for big points. Sonic Team also demonstrated a slightly modified version of Soccer Mode, where the players were trying to shove Chu-Chus and orange cats into rocket hatches. You read that right ? it?s Chu Chu Rocket in full 3D. Naka got an enormous pop from the audience as a group of players managed to shove an oversized cat into a rocket hatch, resulting in hundreds of Chu-Chus being thrown into the air. Awesome.

Other none-too-subtle Sega references included the new Mags, which are based on existing Sega consoles. The PSOv2 trailer showed footage of Dreamcast, Saturn, MegaDrive, and Mark III Mags, happily following our heroes and unleashing Sega-powered hurt.

If that?s not enough for you, you?ll also get a whopping seventy new weapons, with new attack animations to boot. Though the demo showed off some vaguely Soul Calibur style weapon kata sequences, the audience grooved on the killer umbrella weapon, and the high-speed sniper rifle.

New areas are also present in bulk. The playable GameJam demo included the drop-dead gorgeous castle ruins stage (as seen in the screenshots), complete with a gorgeous sunset effect. The other new area on show was an icy glacier, with aurora bourealis making neat colors in the sky ? and ice dragons flitting about doing heavy damage.

Best of all, you won?t have to wait long -- PSOv2 is hitting Japanese stands on May 17th, with an American release not far behind (or so we hope). Chuck in your pre-order, get in line, and by all means, don?t forget to feed your Mags.

Soul Calibur style eh?
-do we get to do Yoshimitsu's helicopter attack?

And about this umbrella..what are we talking? like Mary Poppins (big whoop...an umbrella) style or John Steed (with a sword in the hilt...or other cool weapons for that matter)?
