Ult Mines, Any Suggestions?

Anybody have any suggustions for a lvl 80 RAmar in the Ult Mines. Sinow Blues can kill me in a hit, and everything else does a heck of a lot of damage. Any useful tips? (Before it comes up, NO I don't melee)

Go and get a frozen sh00ter. They will work wonders.

Use Mechguns, and try to keep enemies at a medium range (at least the Gil and Dubchichs; everything else should be taken out with a rifle).

Vol Opt is not much different than before, except for the freezing (part 1), and random dropping pillars (part 2).

Poor RAmars... oh, sry, anyways, I'd recomend doing countless Forest pwning until your really ready. I know you HATE to hear that, but that's what I had to do with my RAmarl and FOmar. Then I got Frozen Shooter and got to Ruins and Seabed Chambers http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif. And FOmar got God/Techs and spammed Megid everywhere to get to ruins/seabed.

Good tips, but too bad that his main character is a Redria, who gets it from Vol Opt 2.0 (and is supposedly a hard boss drop; I got lucky and got mine on the 1st http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif).

Although HUmar and RAmar may LOOK cool at 1st, after a while, you notice how bland they are, and start seeing their uglyness on the inside (or atleast that's what I believe...)

yeah those are good strategys for the mines but i found it easier to use a red handgun and do one three hit combo and leave then repeat.
only do one shot on sinows though. It took me one hour to beat mines at level 93

and VH mines runs go faster than ult. forest runs, and give the same amount of exp.

... I guess your right, I don't think I ever actually liked HUmar and RAmar for looks, I just didn't want to seem to harsh. And that still doesn't mean forest runs are bad? You get better Items in Ult forest than VH mines. And I still think you could do ult forest faster than vh mines. So much walking in mines... eats up game play time!

in a few ID's especially skyly, VH mines has better drops thanult. forest, IMO.

Thanks Guys, I have a Red Handgun +15, and a Meteor Smash +10, with Shifta lvl 9, they both do good damage... I'm just worried about the whole dying part. And just incase I don't get around to checking, is there anyway for Redria to get a good sturdy rare rifle where I am?

pick some rares from vh, and go hunt them down, till your lvl 100+ and have a 15 shifta and Deband

without J/Z your at a bit of a disadvantage

Hello again everyone, I've been doing some runs through the Ult forest and the Ult Caves, I'm now lvl 82 and am a Diska of Bravemen richer! Dang Redria ID. Ohh well, but the mines don't seem to be all that much of a problem anymore. You can make Special Mags (same as Rare Mags) by adjusting the stats a certain way for you ID. Check this guide (http://www.pso-world.com/sections.php?op=viewarticle&artid=1031).

like everyone says, get a frozen shooter. i had one and i was able to get through hard mines in an instant offline, and online i got through ultimate mines pretty fast.

Ummm, about the rare mag's. I'd rather not do one. I can't stand the looks for the one a REDRIA Ramar gets. But ohh well, I gave my mag mind and it changed from KAMA to BHIRAVA (or however you spell it). But is it possible for me to get a third Photon Blast? What I have right now is ESTILA and PILLA.


P.S: It's hard for me to see the little Photon Blast Icons. My monitor is a bit dark and the icons are small...
