Trap question

How come there is four slots for traps? But for the whole game there is always three how come the forth one never appears on the screen? why is that?

the fourth trap is a slow trap, androids get them at higher levels.

not correct.
the fourth trap is unlocked in battle games. since i dont play battles, i dunno which effect it has.
confuse or slow or para... i guess its slow..
