GC-Quest: Does Bernie affect quests online?

Well to make a long story short, you see Bernie in Knowing one's heart as well as Retired Hunter, is there any point to this? I cannot go online so I can't investigate to see if he appears in other quests besides those 2 (after the bernie/sue subplot thing).

I'll give more info if you don't know about this already but I would like to know if this could possibly lead to some sort of quest weapon or something.

Thing is, Bernie will probably not appear in other quests unless you have seen him in Ret.Hunter and Knowing one's Heart, again, I cannot go online so I don't know if he will appear in other quests.

Other than that, he does not affect quests (cf Ketchup's link).

sorry about this affect thing, but are you saying that he does appear in online quests but is just there to talk
