Androids VS Dal Ra Pie! Strategies?

I'm having real trouble fighting Mr. Pie with my RAcast. He was 76 when I arrived there. Every attempt I got to fight him, I ran out of mates. Then, on my 4th try, I suddenyl dewcided to drop extra mates, and buy Star Atomizers. Critical hit! It frustrated me so much, that I quit >_<

Any suggestions?

a Slicer targets 4 parts of teh pie, a Shot 5 =/
well if you have a HP-Draining Shot (you're Redria, a Crush Bullet, maybe?) it may help.
If any boss one hit kills you, don't bother or equip God/HP(s)
But I highly recommend concentrating your fire on its head with Mechguns.

At least Slicers have good speed, and move you out of the way of his attacks, you can't do that with Shots easily (you don't move on the attack and very slow cool down).

The mechgun would probably work if I were 1)Online with S/D or 2) Had Guld Milla XP Since my RAcast si only 76, he's not very strong.

oh, I thought it was HUcast... in that case use the Vice Mechguns... or a pair of Beserk Vulcans. The Beserk ability is ubberly powerful on that beotch... oh but wait, your an android... u need your HP. Crud, well um, how about a Gush Arms?!?

Use the Braveman. It will move out of the way of the tentacle attacks, and if you feel safe, you could use the Berserk special once or twice.

Shot class weapons are too slow for Da Ral Lie, not matter what they are (maybe a God/Battle would change that; but not by much).

Actually, any weapon that robs a good amount of HP would be helpful to you. You can use whatever attack weapon you want, but when you need HP, just swiftly switch to the HP robing weapon and be the Androidic-Vampire!

cause... maybe it's not so great?! My RAmarl misses sometimes still at lvl.124 and she has more ATA than RAcast does (atleast I think so...2nd highest I recall) About 240 something with Diska of Braveman on. They key is to NOT use the special ability the 1st 2 hits. Do a Regular, Heavy, Extra. That's my perfect combo on Mr.Pie with Braveman....

1/21... better than me and my Heaven Punisher from Hidetor! 1/200 something... that queer! ... I'd say your chances are pretty good at getting it actually... maybe not 2nd though. Then again, you might get lucky! I got alot of good finds this month.

And Shots are far from being too slow... and God/Battle makes a huge difference.

never, ever, underestimate the advantage of bloating. HP/units allows you to take on challenges that'd normally be just about impossible. and bloating for 40-100+ HP is nothing to sneeze at. unless you can't deal damage without a particular unit, or paralysis/confuse/etc dangerously exposes you to insta-death you are generally better off with a HP/unit

I find that for android hunters, a good abeast %ed Vjaya and a lot of money works well. That's how I got my HUcaseal out of Caves. As for rangers, I like using the Photon Launcher family. The accuracy is better than slicers or shots and if you position yourself just right, you can get a lot of hits per shot. That's how I got my RAcaseal out of Caves.

Anyways, are Pie's Tenticle attacks physical? I could probably survive them easier if I had a better barrier (Over stupid light relief). Well, I guess if that's the only attack that gets critical hits...

Dal Ra Lie's and De Rol Lie's tentacle attacks are physical. I know because I brought my RAmarl back into normal and did full runs of Unsealed Door a ew times, and she was able to block all of the tectacle attacks.

And Kef:
Shots (and Photon Launchers) may not be too bad, but they are bad for "Pie" because:
1) You don't move to avoid attacks, Slicers allow you to get in a few extra attacks without having to manually move yourself.
2) Shots don't have great accuracy (at least one-two of the shots will probably miss, either because of ATA or just miss due to "Pie"'s movement).

Well, I beat caves at lvl 75 with my RAcast with just a Gush Laser with Hit%, it was sooo easy. It hurt him for like 20 each hit, but the special also hurts him by 120, so it took awhile, but I hardly had to use any healing items.

lol february is the month of my birthday and I have been doing cmode alot and still cant seem to beat ep2 C3 and cant find any rare. Well back on topic I think you should look for a god battle and use the banranz launcher and try to use the special a few times because charge does alot of damage.

My way of being it fast would be to use a slicer type weapon first when it's in the water (preferably rainbow baton) When it actually get its head onto the raft. Well, I finally beat him http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif I used:

Crush Bullet (Didn't use it much)
Justy (Surprised it had more ATP than my Frozen Shooter, used for when I could only hit one part)
Diska of Braveman (Yes, while he was on the boatr, I was using it to hit him to dodge the attacks, but about half way through the battle I lost my scyncronization with him and just started blastin him XP)
Baranz Launcher (Charge charge charge!)

20 Dimates, 5 Trimates, 1 Scape (The first tenticle was a critical hit -_-)

And I tried to hunt GOd/Battle prior to the fight, but 2 HIldelts dropped Photon Drops. So I was angry at them -_- Monaco Chao (My RAcast) is now 79.

Congrats, Del Ral Lie can be really annoying sometimes... hes probably one of the hardest bosses IMO.

Why slicers? Photon Launchers are much better when he's in the water. They don't miss quite as often as other weapons http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Contrary to most methods, I take a high HIT % charge Vulcan and charge Raygun in and just keep on blasting his head. I've experimented with all the different methods, and Swords work best, but Partisans and Slicers don't deal significant damage, regardless of them hitting multiple targets.

So, if your accuracy is high enough, and you cant use a Sword, your best bet (in my opinion) is the Mechgun. Just keep blasting his head, and make sure that if it is a charge Mechgun you take about 30,000 Meseta. Good luck!
