I just log in a server and it frezzes and then discountes (its not fsod) and my internet conection is fine.

Did everything freeze except for the loading cricle thingy? Happens to me sometimes.

Every time when I get online there's that downloading screen with that circle thingy. There normally sort of like a pause in that screen and then I know I can get online. If there's no pause then I usually can't get on. I don't really know why that happens.

it might help a bit if you describe your set up as described in the sticky topic.

If your conecting through a router, has the router messed up?
i had exactly the same problems when my router messed up/crashed.
My X box would get online, all be it slower,My P.Cs would get online, but my gamecube wouldnt get on PSO,
i managed to fix it by turning the folowing on on the router:
( copy and paste from router config screen)
PPPoA, UK Settings, NAPT, DHCP, DNS
