According to Sonic Team's PSO Xbox website, Japanese players will be receiving Episode 2 Challenge Mode Stage 1 very shortly. Which means for us that, after we receive the next quest update (which will include Garon's Treachery and Rappy's Holiday) the US and EU servers will be receiving this as well, whenver that is. I'm guessing no later than mid-March.
The update also mentions the White Day Event (which we will probably receive also... maybe...) and... something called "The Principal's Gift" (literally translated by BabelFish as "Gift of the Governor-General")? Anyone have any clue what that is? It's an event quest for two people only.
