why would you do that if you get it from hildets?

all drops from hildets, except skyly, and especially yellowboze, require a good to obscene amount of time to get.

He was doing Ultimate Forest of Sorrow, which has several times as many Hildelts as normal Forest runs (and in a shorter amount of time, since you can completely skip Forest 1).

Just keep going for it, and why not make an excavation report (see sticky above for info on those)?

Keep with it, Hildelts can take a while for their rare to drop, I was pretty lucky for my redria to get his God/Battle from only my 6th FoS run... So keep with it, it will come in time.

I wouldn't freak over it... it's... a Red Saber. They're ok... but still, your freakin. Zarana would probably agree. It's a 1 target hitting, 3 hit combo weapon. Those aren't very good weapons. Unless it's a gun... but still, 1st, you have to make sure you're accurate with the weapon, you time it right, you do enough damage to kill it within 3 hits to avoid counter-damage, ect... Though fully grinded (78) it does more than Ancient Saber and hit +1 ATA. But, Ancient Saber's special ablility steals HP and has the range of a handgun. Similar to Demonic Fork. (which is so cool) And Ancient Saber is so much cooler looking... (my opinion... but still). But I'd suggest getting a Skyly or Virdia to ult forest and do FoS... but instead look for Hildetor. 1/2 chance of drop. My bluefull gets Red Saber from Hildelt as well, he's found about.... 3-4. And I think it has the same drop rate as your ID. And my Skyly has found 3 of them. I got 7 Red Sabers, one with 15% hit. Only 2 of them are fully grinded (the 1st one I found and the one with hit). 502 ATP required... that doesn't show much quality in the weapon right there.
After you get it, grind it, play with it for a bit, you'll switch back to something you used to use. Like mechguns or something. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

IF you want a Red Saber so bad, be a Pinkal. YOu get them from Bartles. i like the Elysion better though, looks count.

Hell, I would seriously use a Musashi instead of a Red Saber. Saber's really do suck, because you're prone to attack after using a 3 Hit combo. But, if you really really definately HAVE to have it, just keep going! It'll appear eventually!

Be patient. Keep doing Forest runs. You'll eventually get one. Last Saber I found had a 0/10/20/0/40 Kinda sick for a red saber. Sepcially with a 40% hit. Got it off a yellowboze barble.

thats why you do 2 hit combo, back off for less than a second, start again. musashi you either kill them in a combo or get hit. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif
