Hi all! First time here on the fourms and I need some questions answered. I plan to go online with PSO in the near future and I've already have broadband taken care of. I just checked to see if the BB adaptors are still available and they are. My problem is what to do about the keyboard.

The Mrs. says all she wants to do is just download the new quests (which she absolutely loves!) and I want to go back online to relive those wonderful days of PSO DC glory. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif By the way, can two people play online on the same GC? I don't think you can but I just wanted to make sure.

Anyway, I know about the ASCii keyboard/controller that's out, but isn't that an import? Even if it is, it should still work on the US system...right? I was also wondering if any of you have this special controller, how many and how does it feel in the hands? In other words, how is the keyboard and controller functions?

Also, does anyone know if there is an adaptor where you can use your PC keybord on the GC? If there is, could someone PLEASE get a reply to this thread soon? Thanks in advance people.

The quests aren't actually saved on your memory card.

Only one person can play online at a time with each HL (meaning you can't play two on one GC).
You would need 2x:
GC
BBA
HL
PSO

This one is pretty expensive, but you can find a cheaper one from ebay. If that is you use ebay.

hmmm. I've downloaded a few quests. they were quite fun and rewarding. the broadband adapter first must have all the neccesary info and so must your PSO game. if you don't have this info, you can't go online. sucks huh? also, you can connect directly to the cable outlet. comcast digital internet is one exampe.
also, you can only play with more than 1 person offline.

For Comcast the BBA doesn't need any info. You need to leave everything set to automatic (which is derfault). The only thing you may have to do is register the BBA's make with them so that their DHCP servers will release an IP address for it.

As for keyboard options, I can think of the 4 main choices:

1. ASCII Keyboard controller (http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-23-70-3no-4-7.html)
2. Datel Powerboard (http://us.codejunkies.com/shop/product.asp?c=US&cr=USD&cs=$&r=0&l=1&ProdID=167&CountryID=US)
3. Gameshark Keyboard (http://gear.gameshark.com/objects/657650.html)
4. Keyboard Converter (http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-24-70-29s-4-7.html)
