i want to make a list of the ultimate weapons of each weapon class. you guys (and girls) are the pros, so you can help me out more that i can.

This is really pointless. All this topic will do is revive the -random weapon- vs. -random weapon- topics that have been done too many times. Also a few weapon classification issues may come up. Thier is no ultimate weapon, the game is too damn situational. I am so tired of seeing/typing that.

CANE: teh Summit Moon (boost simple techs by 30%)
CARD: teh Gal Wind (good special, not so rare)
CLAW: teh Morning Glory (11 chars out of 12 can use, very powerful)
DAGGER: teh Red Dagger (dunno love them, 2nd best dagger in game, good special on non-droids, not rare)
DOUBLE SABER: teh S-Rank, others have lame specials and good ones are HU only except Twin Blaze
FIST: teh God Hand, in teh quest, one of the most powerful weapons in game
HANDGUN: teh Red Handgun, easy drop, all can use

LAUNCHER: teh Red Scorpio, obviously

SWORD: teh S-Rank, it rocks, Chain Sawd too (but Skyly only) or Zanba if you are lucky.

MECHGUN: Guld Milla (a close second would be Yasminkov 9000M... that has the range of a rifle and gives over 100 ATP... but Guld Milla gives more still and robs a shiz load of HP)

Card: Mahu (easiest drop, cards suck)
Claw: Morning Glory (it's a bad red saber, but meh)
Dagger: Pan Arms Blade (my FOny hates being left out)
Double Saber: BKB (the best one, mine's legit)
Fist: God Hand (no competition)
Handgun: Red Handgun (nc)
Katana: anthing but agito/orotiagito...
Launcher: Red Scorpio (nc)
Partisan: Red Partisan (I have one and it's red)
Rifle:Frozen shooter (unless you count S-needle)
Rod: Psycho Wand (nc)
Saber:Red Saber (see P-arms blade explanation)
Shot: Spread Needle makes shots wothless
Slicer: Rainbow Baton (see P-arms blade expl)
Sword: hate to say it, but TJ (i hate all swords)
Twin Sword: Asuka (i hate all twin swords)
Wand: Magical Piece (Finish the set [SM-basic, MP-mid, PW-hard])

Some of you, especially MegamanX, tend to forget the rarity of the stuff mentioned.

and you made two mistakes MegamanX :
1- Spread Needle has rifle aniimation, but a range even inferior to Mechguns (by an inch)
2- the wand that boosts Gi-tech is Magical Piece, not Twinkle Star.

And yeah, Mechguns :
Yasminkov 9000M, rifle range pwns everything, and both Guld and Milla are insane drops.

oh yeah, not rifle range. And um, I say Spread Needle it's a shot because it shoots 5 targets. I don't care what the database says, that thing is so corrupt. Evil Curst is a saber! not a cane, Sting Tip is also a Saber! ect... and ah, he asked for the Ultimate Weapons! And um, Ultimate usually leads toward Insanely Rare stuff! Twinkle star gives tech boost. :Special = Tempest (100+Tech Level). I'm not exactly sure what that means... I know it isn't adding 100 levels to your techniques. It seems to make my FOmar do a alot more damage. And it looks cool too!. And I have Magical Piece too, that's also pretty cool. I still say Twinkle Star is the best Wand.

SHOT: Spread needle, since thats how other classify it.
SLICER: Rainbow baton>j00
SWORD: Red sword. special is suprisingly accurate.
TWIN SWORD: Asuka.
WAND: Magical piece, also mad seksi.
MECHGUN: Yas 9k, nothing else compares

Cane: Summit Moon, I don't think anyone can really argue here. If they do, they're an idiot, or REALLY like switching out those Laconiums/Zumiurans/Adamans.
Card: Guardianna is pretty? Cards are mostly useless, IMO...
Claw: Eh, Morning Glory or Heart of Poumn. Real Nei's is ugly. For looks, P-drop fake Nei's wins.
Dagger: I hate Daggers. n.n Probably Red Dagger. Decent stats, and looks cool. S-red's are better than nothing for the S/Dless Hunters.
Double Saber: S-Rank Twin, for looking cool, being pretty strong and being usable by all but FOnewearl(Even FOnewm surpasses the necessary 800 ATP by 14)
Fist: Eh, God Hand. I don't care for fists.
Handgun: Red Handgun, not even a question. For looks, Yasminkov 2000H. On a RAmarl. See Kef's sig.

Mechgun: Yasminkov 9000M, or the standard 50% Hit Charge Vulcan if you're not a RA.
Needle: Hell with the Shot/Rifle debate. S-Rank Needle w/ Zalure > All
Partisan: Red Partisan, for looking cool and having a decent special. Soul Banish also earns a place of honour for being usable by the Human Forces.
Rifle: Frozen Shooter. Stops Mericarols cold. :3 For looks, Bringer's Rifle or Holy Ray, or the lowly Visk.
Rod: Most people will say Psycho Wand, but I'm going to go with the Dark Bridge even though it's hideous. The status effects really don't hit that often, it drains less HP than the Psycho Wand, and for the FOs without native penetrating Megid, soloing Ep2 is suddenly the easiest thing imaginable except for the odd Megid-resistant critter. Psycho Wand looks better, though, and RA techs are more useful than Megid in Ep1. So, more or less a tie. Looks, I actually like the standard basic series best. I take my FSallover the place in case of rare enemies I want A snapshot of. I hardly ever use it, except against minibosses, delbiters, and various lillies if there are too many in a small room.
